Dredd, 2012. The perfect film.

regardless of whether or not the slow-mo violence is pr0n or not, a lot of the violence in the movie doesn't do it for me.  It just seemed to be tacked on in hopes of making an unspectacular story more edgy.  This is not to say that I disliked the movie, just that I thought the violence didn't help it.
