I cant believe it.There is thick snow outside.I am going to have to go out in it.
I am in East Sussex.
Anyone else got snow ?
You do know you're allowed an INTERNAL monologue, right Pete?
Apologies.I was just amazed to see it as its so unusual here.
We had snow too...heres the Missus going to get the sunday papers... ;-D
Nice bit of snow in West Sussex too.
Had a great time with Mrs Albion's grandsons this morning.
My little lad is nearly two and this is the first proper snow he's seen down our way. We got up early and took up him to the Wicklow hills and played miniature snowballs by Lough Bray Lower (a spectacular corrie which still had a glacier in dammed behind its morraine as recently as 10,500 years ago, and always seems about two bad months away from another ice-age).
It was bloody freezing. And about time too.
snow here too, we call these snows 'the lambing snows', but they don't usually last so long. we call the may snows 'the cuckoo snow'.
i'm not sure what we call the june snow, the july snow, the august & september floods, etc

What?, there's not a flake of snow up here in Bally Brack or Killiney.
Snow in Kent too-big old flakes as well!
Bloody global warming!

I'm in Tallaght, and it's snowing again as I type! It was good and white early on, but most of the lying snow was gone by 9. There was a good dusting all the way from Tallaght back to the Sally Gap - not enough for sledding or decent snowmen, but enough for snowballs. Yay, sez I.
Belfast is disappointingly sun-shiningly nice. S'not even raining.
- pj
All gone here now.
It was wonderful waking up and seeing that this morning.
***I'm in Tallaght***
Tallaghtfornia, sun & snow.
I was looking out the door of the pub and whingeing about the snow last night, this afternoon, walking round in it (It's still snowing here but not settled) I realised I'm gonna have to get used to this if I'm moving to Canada....
No more weather whining from me til that Bastard sun comes out, (Bloody warmth, who needs it?..)
Tallaghtfornia, sun & snow.
You're thinking of Pram Springs.
Portsmouth was covered. Unfortunately, I was trying to get a train back to Southampton this morning, and - bearing in mind it was reduced Sunday services anyway - every train was either cancelled, delayed, or delayed and then cancelled because of it.
I found myself sympathising with that Volg commander from Savage.
Some members of my family went to Devil's Dyke near Brighton and saw people sledgeing with various items including an oven tray, a toy box and a satellite dish!
Bright, sun-shine in mid-Denmark, all day. Been out sorting out the garden.
Went to Rottingdean which is a postcard setting to enjoy the snow.
Lovely it was an all.
God knows what would have happened yesterday if it had snowed, after London Waterloo was closed. It was absolute bloody chaos at Clapham Junction (all trains south and west running through platforms 5 and 6, seemingly at random).
And three inches of white evilness here last night. I don't care for snow at the best of times, but in April - and two days after we'd had about 16°C and sun? Grrrr.
