Is there any possible way Johnson can wriggle out of this?  Can't see how, but sadly I suspect the answer is yes, somehow there will be a way. There always is for him, it seems.

The arbiter on breaches of the ministerial code is… the Prime Minister. He won't go willingly because he has no honour, no sense of decency, duty or responsibility, and he geniunely believes that rules don't apply to him because, well, for his entire life they haven't.

Pretty sure the only way he goes is if the rest of the MPs oust him, and they haven't shown the stomach for it yet.

This is the bit I can't quite understand... yes, they want to stay in power, but how does hitching yourself to Johnson help?  Surely his electoral Midas touch won't work any more?  Last I checked his approval and disapproval rates were 26% and 68% respectively, and that was most likely updated before yesterday's revelations.

While I think that Trump has the sense of integrity and moral compass of a corpse, I can see how kowtowing to him is politically advantageous, but I just can't see johnson ever being a vote-winner again.

Fair points Funt. Nostalgia will likely impact all of our votes to one degree or another!

Of course nostalgia plays a role, but I feel obliged to say that my Zenith vote partly came about from re- reads in later life. There are levels of complexity that I just didn't see the first time round - I only worked out a few years ago why Chimera was a pyramid (though a tetrahedron would have made more sense).

Though the Spurious one is a fine writer, I was never a fan of Lobster.  I did like The Dead though; it really creeped me out as a kid.

Dear me, this is a tough one - two of the best the prog has ever had.

But for mind-bending depth, perfect characterisation and dialogue, and a grasp of the zeitgeist that never seems try-hard or contrived, it's Zenith for me.

Shadows for me.   I really liked it.   Brigand Doom was fine but suffers from comparison to its clear inspiration. You know, the one by that beardy guy.

It's not my thing at all, and I don't have sprogs. But I do like the idea of making a Sprogprog, and realise there aren't the resources to start a new regular comic from scratch.

So -   Yes, keep it as it is 4 regen progs and 46 regular progs a year

In those weird few minutes between sleeping and waking, I was trying to remember the name of Con Air for some reason,  and misremembered it as Air Con.  Which made me realise it's a play on words.  I think.

No arguments on that score, but Swifty and Co have a special place in my heart and I couldn't possibly vote against them.

It would appear that Johnson's moral bankruptcy is finally getting through to voters.  Nice one, UK, I haven't given up on you all just yet!
