I'll second 'bring back Denise'!  Do we have a third?

Have you read the Prog 2004 thread? -

There are no 'new people' with regards to subs. Subs copies are delivered direct from the printer, the same way they have done for the last 2-3 years - usually sent out Thursday for Saturday delivery. For some reason Prog 2005 went out on Friday.

^^^^ This

The late delivery of subscriber issues for Prog 2005 was a fault of the printers, who distribute the subscription issues, wasn't the fault of our new customer support droid!

Okay, it seems that due to an error, the distributors didn't send out most subscriber issues for Prog 2005 until yesterday (Monday 31st Oct), this should mean, however, that most of you (at least in the UK) will get Prog 2005 delivered either tomorrow (Wednesday 2ns November), or by Thursday latest. Big apologies for this, the culprits may be looking at a visit to Mek-Quake!

For those subscribers who've not received Prog 2005 yet, we're investigating with the printers to see if there were any problems or delays with sending out that issue, but usually they would tell us. Will let you know if we get any more information on this.

I just recently re-subscribed after a 5 year or so absence.
Seems the subs department has changed a bit.

No longer Denise which seems to be the problem.
At the moment I feel they are having a laugh, I don't know.

My sub starts from 1999 I did not receive 1999 or 2000 now I have received 2000 twice but still no 1999. After 5 or so messages to the subs department.
The only way to get a response is through the online form, direct response to emails don't get replied to.
All the other progs, 2001 - 2004 no worries but they are all stacking up waiting for 1999 :-(

I am in Belgium not that this should make any difference we have not yet Brexited. :-)

Sorry for the moan, just getting a bit frustrated, never had these problems previously.
Anyone else got sub issues?

Hi sorry to here about this, but we have recently appointed a new dedicated customer support person for subscriptions and other 2000 AD web shop orders, and he has been replying to customer emails - what email address have you been using to make queries? These are all monitored:

subshelp@2000adonline.com
payments@2000adonline.com
shop@2000adonline.com
2000ad.tech.support@rebellion.co.uk - though this one is more for technical problems with the website etc.

We have also recently switched warehouse (just before Prog 2000 was released - great timing!), so there may have been delays sending some things out during that period, but all subscriber entitlements will be honoured.

If anyone else is wondering where Prog 2001 is in the app, have a look down the bottom right of the screen.
Took me a while but that's where it's hiding.

Sorry about this everyone, it's due a combination of the way the current version of the iOS sorts things (which is a bit bugged) and a new internal product code scheme (to cope with there now being the new Prog 2000, 2001 etc,. as well as the older Xmas Prog 2000, 2001 etc.). We'll be releasing an updated version of the iOS app fairly soon which should fix the sorting, as well as some other issues and will also add new features.

This issue does not affect the Android and Windows 10 versions of the apps.

For iOS for the next few Progs, the sorting is likely to remain a bit borked, but the upcoming patch discussed above should fix this.

Also, on the subject of the digital version, in Windows 10 Foxit pdf reader can no longer read the 2000AD digital comics since last week. Sumatra pdf seems to be able to read it okay though.

I think that might be more due to a problem with Foxit, it's been crashing out on me constantly for the last week or so(not just from the 2000 AD windows app) - possibly since the Windows 10 Anniversary update, so maybe that broke something in Foxit?

BTW we're working on a new built-in PDF reader for all our apps, including Windows 10, though will be rolled out to iOS first. I don't have a confirmed ETA for this yet, though, but the iOS update (which will also feature some other improvements - see below) should be out "soon"...

No Prog this weekend. "AHA!" I thought. "This is Tharg wanting me to go into town and get the Summer Special!" So off I trudged. Nothing in McColl's. Nada in WHSmith. Bah.

Got mine from Smiths to get the 49p discount (yoink!). Strangely, it wasnt stocked next to the Prog or Meg, but with the Marvel stuff. Might be worth having another look?

I'm afraid to say that I've heard that the pricing for WH Smith has now been corrected, consider yourself lucky if you managed to snag a bargain before then!

A splendid summer treat indeed.
But no poster in the digital version?

We're looking into what we might be able to do here, as a few people have asked about this, we may be able to either add it onto the end of the main comic PDF/CBZ, or else offer it as a separate download (from the Rebellion Account Portal website: https://account.rebellion.co.uk/2000ad/download ) for those who've purchased the digital version, but we need to look into how feasible this is going to be.

We've now added the poster towards the end of the digital version of the 2000 AD Summer Special 2016 - if you've already downloaded the Summer Special, please delete the original version, then re-download the summer special. If you get a download error, please fully close the app, then restart it, then try again .

Any idea why this is marked as not available on the iPad app?
Mine the same.
I want to the inline store and bought the digital copy there.
Came back and restarted the iPad app and then it showed up and downloaded.
Don't know if that helps.

Okay, we've managed to sort out the IAP for the 2000 AD Summer Special 2016 with Apple and this is now showing as available to purchase via the iOS versions of the 2000 AD app, apologies for the problems with this.

We're still looking into the problem with the availability of the 2000 AD Summer Special 2016 in iOS, but haven't been able to find the problem yet.

In the meantime, the above workaround will work i.e. go to one of our online stores, login using you usual 2000 AD / Rebellion email address and password, then buy the digital version of the 2000 AD Summer Special 2016:

https://account.rebellion.co.uk/products/product/SPE1601D (recommended link to use)
or
http://shop.2000adonline.com/products/digitalgn_2000_ad_summer_special_2016

Once purchased, if you're logged into the iOS app, your entitlements should sync after a little while (restarting the app should force this to happen) and then the 2000 AD Summer Special 2016 should be available to download in the iOS app.

Will post again if/when we manage to sort out the underlying problem

The availability problem in the iOS version of the 2000 AD app is now sorted out, so you should now be able to purchase the 2000 AD Summer Special 2016 through the app now, apologies this wasn't available to buy via the iOS app until now.

Oops! We're looking into this, hope to have this sorted out soon. Will post here when resolved.

Still not resolved I'm afraid, but we're re-submitting the IAP for this to Apple to see if that makes a difference, just waiting now for Apple to approve it. In the meantime, the workaround mentioned earlier in this thread is still an option for those who can't wait.

Product Downloads are now working again from the https://shop.2000adonline.com site, though it's always still an option to download your purchases from https://account.rebellion.co.uk/download and the latter also includes any purchases made through our 2000 AD mobile apps, unlike on the https://shop.2000adonline.com wesbite

Website and Forum / Re: Menu bar...

It happens on my Mac when the window width hits approx 760px. It looks like your collapse-o-script is failing on the forum pages, for some reason. (Also, odd that you omit a 2000 AD logo from the nav strip on the narrow site.)

Okay, I think I see what you mean now, yes that doesn't look right - we'll look into this. It also doesn't seem to be collapsing the menu on an iPhone, but it's meant to!

It should look more like the www.2000adonline.com site does when the menu gets collapsed for small screens, though won't be exactly the same as the forum doesn't use Foundation.. On the www.2000adonline.com site it looks like this could still do with some further tweaks, though, so that the 2000 AD logo is fixed top left, rather than being moved to the burger navigation drop-down. We'll see what we can do.

Hi - it's come to our attention that, following a major update to the 2000 AD web shop yesterday (switching the payments processor for most subscription payments to Stripe, which should be less problematic than Sage Pay), we seem to have broken the functionality to fbe able to download your purchase digital products on that site.

But fear not, there is a workaround whilst we look into fixing this (hopefully today), or you can simply switch to this method from now on - simply head over to the Rebellion Account portal and login with your usual email address/password that you use for the 2000 AD web store, you should be able to access all your 2000 AD downloads here: https://account.rebellion.co.uk/download

This alternative means of downloading your purchases also lists anything that you may have purchased via our 2000 AD mobile apps, including subscription issues, which you can download as DRM-free PDF and/or CBZ files.

I'll post here when we've fixed the downloads issue on the 2000 AD web store
