Hi Squaxx.
Due to circumstances I'm not going to bore anyone with here I find myself having to perform and Extreme De-clutter (sigh...)
So over the next few weeks I'll be popping up to pimp stuff for Ebay I'm sure but to start I'm going to be giving away (for the cost of postage) stuff from my Small Press boxes.
For anyone here who's work this is- just because I'm passing this forward it doesn't mean I didn't like it- in fact there are a lot of things here that contain my own work.
First off:

The Marvel type things I've very little knowledge of anymore, but if you have any questions about content- just ask.
PM me if you want anything off this list and I'll pull it aside for you. I'm not asking for anything for them, just for you to cover the postage.
Hmmm, I know the listing above isn't the clearest indicator of what the comics are like- but for the price of postage you can get yourself some class comics.

Last cal for anything that is to be posted tomorrow! I'll be checking till about 9pm.
Okay, well barring some major mishap- all gone.
I'll have some more in the next few days, including some Ebay action (dipping my toes again)
However- If any Squaxx out there want to take progs 1500 to 1600 and the Megs that came out at the same time off me for the cost of postage- please get in touch.
Either say here or PM me.
The free items have all gone in the post now, though I may well have a trawlf through my mini-comics in the week to see if there is anything there I can part with.
However I'm starting to raid the Bolt-vault for ebay.
Here is a link to my selling page (note- this is being used by the whole family so there may well be a few items that aren't comics related...)
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
And a reminder that progs 1500 - 1600 along with the relevant Megs are up for free if anyone wants 'em (You pay for post, natch)
Sorry you are clearing things, hope its for good reasons.
Those Love and Rockets are soooo tempting a series I've wanted to get into since getting back into comics buit been waiting to blunder into a good opportunity... is this it?...

Those Love and Rockets are soooo tempting a series I've wanted to get into since getting back into comics buit been waiting to blunder into a good opportunity... is this it?...
Absolutely, yes. If I didn't have the two monster-sized collections, I'd probably bid for them myself - I once had a mostly complete run of the original, and kept up with them through their new stuff. Then when they announced they were bringing back L&R because their dumbass fans couldn't follow them to a different title, and just wanted more Maggie and Hopey stories, I was sad but still got the first few issues of that. I don't think their hearts were in it by then though.
The original run of Love and Rockets is as good as any comic has ever been, though, so bid I say.
Hi Colin, this isn't quite the full run (I've not got versions of issues 2-4) as it just stops at 31 (I know that the series ran on for a while after but that was the last I got) They are all in pretty decent condition- there is a little sun bleaching on the spineside edges of a few covers (shelves, what are you gonna do) but that is all. The nicest thing about the actual comics is you can see how the stories played out episodically. Like 2k, some of the strips really benefit from the gap between issues.
As for the reasons- well I'd be lying if I said I was just having a sort out, but from my perspective it is more of a 'impediment' than 'Spugs' level event.
Hi All, bit of bumpage for the non-weekend boarders.

And now I'm back after a trawl of the Bolt-Vault for Small Press Mini-comics.
These are almost all A5 size (Same as Zarjaz etc) and are almost all in pristine condition. Again, I mean no slight to the creators of any of these titles, but I really need to only keep those books I cannot bear (SP?) to part with.

Same as with the last lot- these are all free to good homes. All I'd ask for would be the cost of postage. As these are mini comics they will cost less as well.
Pm Me or post below and I'll get them all away on Saturday morning for you.
Don't forget that I've got the prog/Meg from 1500-1600 going free (apart from postage) and there are some goodies on the Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=) and more will be going on each weekend for the next few weeks.
Woo, back to the ol' bumperino!
I'm hoping that these comics will all find good homes, especially as they are all totally out of print.
The Ebay auctions are up tomorrow as well and I'll be starting the next raft of items just before these finish.
Cheers.
Okay, think I'm sorted for the progs (cheers) but I'm surprised no-one was interested in the mini-comics...
I will keep hold for a little while but space is severely not my friend these days so I'd rather give them away than bin them.
Thanks to the boarder for the interest in the mini comics, I'll get them all away early in the week and well done Colin for picking up almost all the L&R comics.
Lots of ALIEN & ALIENS memorabilia up there this week if anyone is interested...
Just stumbled across this. Very pleased (though a little worried about tracking down issues 2-4 which I'll find hard to resist (hadn't realised 1 was included - nice one) and then no doubt the later issues, but glad I did this as I always liked the original format and this will make me make the effort.
Thanks Dave - feel a little guilty as I know I got a baragain here. Anyway payment sent and thanks again.

Thanks Dave - feel a little guilty as I know I got a bargain here.
Ditto - I just won some embarrassingly cheap Far Side books off that auction!
DDD- was that you? Awesome.
Well, thanks to Blixab, of this very parish for taking that box of progs of my hands, and I very much appreciate the funds- I'll be taking the kids to see ANT MAN with that!
The latest round of Ebays close today and the new ones come on line at half four. Please take a look and if you see anything, I'm trying to keep the costs down as low as I can.
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
Sorry meant to say the Love and Rockets arrived safely and are looking good. Thanks you very much.
Colin, you are welcome. Happy reading.
This weeks Auctions are almost over and there are some new ones starting including some that feature work by 2000 AD creators John Wagner, Carlos Ezquerra, Brett Ewins, Ian Gibson and Peter Milligan (Not all on the same book obv)
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
Thanks for looking.
I know this thread is pretty much just me asking you all to take a look at my ebay auctions, but if I didn't, you'd all forget and miss out.
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
There will be a load finishing tomorrow and then a new lot going up Sunday. Remember I'm not asking for a lot of money for the books, so hopefully there are bargains to be had.
Thanks
Well, after a break for a few weeks I'm back with the ongoing eBaying of stuff.
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
There are quite a few now here as 'Buy it now' items, and I'll be uploading new items each weekend for the forseeable.
As always, I'm not asking for a lot for these so hopefully there are bargains to be had.
Hey, there Squaxx.
The newest auctions have just gone live and the ones from last week all finish in a few hours.
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
Thanks for looking.
Hi All, thanks to those of you who picked up some bargains recently, and this week there are some more bargains including a bit of Classic Warhammer from Rennie & Macneil...
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
As a happy customer just wanted to say that Bolt does indeed offer exception value and if you aren't exploiting his generosity for personal gain then you are a damned fool... though there's another one I might be after here, so you can stay away from that!
Damn! Due too time restraints I missed out on them Cerebus books! But mighty good find to anyone who got them and i'll chip in that Bolts practicaly giving these goodies away!
I love all the targeted ads for "strontium bone maker" tablets that appear under your listings! Now why would that be?
Ah, Phil- I've no idea at all why they appear...
BUY DOGBREATH!
And a sincere thanks to all those boarders who are picking up bargains.
Why, hello there...
This weeks items have all been added to the Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=) page, and the ones listed last week all finish this afternoon.
Splundigs!
Hey, there Squaxx!
Just a reminder to those of you with an interest that the latest batch of comics finish this afternoon and there will be a new selection going up this week at approx noon (If I've managed to schedule everything properly)
Thanks to all for looking and I hope that you manage to pick up a bargain.
Okay while I've clearly gained advantage from you having to have a clear out its time to slow down. Week after week you're draining my will and forcing yet more conversations around the Taylor household that revolve around the fact that, no, in fact you can never have too many comics. First Love and Rockets, then Elephantmen and Cinebooks NOW its Kane trades. Damn it do you not see that simply shifting the problem of comic over indulgence isn't solving it, its simple giving it to someone else.
DAMN YOUR GREAT DEALS!
HA! That's teach me, snipped at the last on those Kane trades.
oh no, sorry Colin.
Hey, there Squaxx. The Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=) has been updated for the week, and the goods from last week are now in their last hour, so if you were hovering or wondering about grabbing a bargain- now is the time to get stuck in.
Thanks.
Very much interested in that Richard Corben Sinbad book.
Hawk, I agonised very much over that. It is a superb piece of work. Good luck.
Snipping out to be illegal! Ah well.
Hawk, I've just seen this and sorry to see you missed out on the Corben.
I do have a copy of Bloodstar if you want to make me an offer for that? I could bring it to TB to save post as well.
Anyhoo- there is a fresh crop of titles in the vault as of this afternoon
Many thanks for looking.

Well, it's been a while since I posted here, but there is now a fresh batch of goodies in the Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=).
Thanks for taking a look.
Oooh Nexus ... that was one of the first non-2000ad/Marvel comics I read. Around 1991 I met a guy who had a huge and diverse comic collection and spent many hours working my way through it. Can't remember much about Nexus except that I really enjoyed it.
Think I'll give the Man Utd Annual a miss though!
Yeah if you don't own Nexus snap up this chance to get. Some lovely stuff again (alas I have almost all of it), shame about that Man U annual, I used to hold you in such high esteem.
As a confirmed City fan I have no idea where the hell that came from. I wasn't even going to put it up on t'Ebay, but as Mrs Bolt pointed out to me- I have managed to sell a german language Batman annual, so there must be someone out there wanting a Utd annual.
A midweek (almost) bump for anyone who doesn't hang here at the weekends...
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
Many thanks for looking.
Many thanks to Bolt for putting The Chimpanzee Complex up, payment is heading your way. :)
Well, here we go again- FQP towers is once again full to bursting so if I ever want to buy anything more I need to make space.
Over the next few weeks I'll be quietly listing to Ebay some choice items from the collection.
I'll also soon be doing my usual parting with a couple of years worth of progs- for the price of postage.
Here is the link to the Ebay page:
Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=)
Also- in with each pack for a while will be a handful of free comic book day swag. I'm putting those in both free and gratis while I have them.
As always- any questions ask them here, and thanks for looking.
Thanks to those who've taken a look, and here is a little midweek reminder.

Ohhh A1 I had those back in the day, sold them in a big clear out of the millenium, but now I'm thinking they were really good and I might have been a fool to get rid. With any luck I'll find out again...
Cheers Colin- there's a little interest in those judging by the views- maybe they don't come up as a set very often?
And thanks to those who've looked. I know of at least one boarder who's picked themselves up a nice bargain today.
*waves*
Midweek bump to remind folk of this.

I just bid on the Death Sentence and Undertow comics. I've read interesting things about Death Sentence!

Mardroid- many thanks, those comics were picked up personally from Mr Montynero.
Colin- Bah! you must try harder! :)
Reminder for those of you out there looking for a bargain- the latest auctions finish tomorrow and there are still plenty of saving to be made.

Thank YOU! I won the auction today. Much appreciated.
No worries, always a pleasure to see a boarder get a bargain.
There's a treat today- a set of the postcards that the Nerve centre was passing out for letters back in 2002. I found a set still in the envelope from Tharg! The blue flash of Thrill power was blinding after all that time closed! The auction for that goes live at 12.
Quick mid-week reminder to folk that there are plenty of bargains to be made here:

The Postcards are still up for this week and are a heck of a bargain, especially for those Squaxx out there who weren't about in the early 2000's.
Thanks for looking, and for any bids too.
Mine arrived recently by the way, all in great condition. Thanks a lot Bolt.
You are very welcome Mardroid- hopefully you have had time to digest.
Remember folk, that the Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=) will be getting updated weekly for the forseeable and there are a huge number of bargains to be had. So far I don't think a single item has even reached cover...

Yep thanks for the Scott McCloud book, life is always better with more Scott McCloud.
No worries Colin- that is a very strange book. I think Scott worked on it straight after he finished 'Understanding comics' and it is in some ways quite experimental...
Hey there Squaxx, the Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=) is open and has quite a few items in it currently. I've got it set now so Sunday is when things finish, as apparently that is when most folks are browsing for a bargain.
Thanks to all those who've looked in the past and for taking another look.
Hey there Squaxx, the Bolt Vault Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dave6795/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=) is currently brimming with bargains and more will be added this weekend. I'm parting with quite a few vintage X-men pins this week and at the moment the price qualifies as ridiculous.
Thanks to all those who've looked in the past and for taking another look.
Hi, received Heartbreak Soup today. Very prompt delivery, much appreciated!
I haven't read any of the Love and Rockets comics, but read good reviews on the board. Nice to try something a bit alternative.
Hi Mardroid- considering that was posted last night 2nd class I'm well impressed-
Hope you like the book, and plenty of bargains out there for all!
