Am i in the right place?

I joined about a week ago with the original intent of finding a creative hub where i can practice & hone my attempts at comic illustration, but i have been having that much fun immersing myself in 2000ad geekdom thanks to the overwhelming friendliness of everyone here that i forgot to mention it! So here it is,like i said i don't know if this is the right place to post it but if anyone knows of a small press looking to try new  artists or the right forum for this kind of thing ..lead the way!

have you checked out Zarjaz and Dogbreath, Futurequake etc? All produced by  members of these boards (not me), but pillars of the community like Bolt 01.

They have the advantage of being small press and you get to draw your fave 2000Ad characters.

There's also several writers like enigmatic Dr X and the legendary shark you could always PM them.(Hope they don't mind me mentioning them )
