Why is John Smith no longer involved with 2000AD? What have I missed?

The Dredd is great but it feels rushed - some slow menacing build-up to the city-wide snow storm and the reveal of the baddie would have made it feel more sinister and epic, I feel.

Victoria and District Lines - often a trade rather than the actual prog though...

I like Reaper, it's different to pretty much any other comic out there and things like Lawless are great Dreddworld stuff. I also like the randomness of the floppy! Some of it is great, some terrible but always worth a read...

Dark Justice actually reminded me a bit of City of the Damned in that it started out all grim and brooding and and epic before the writers just got a bit bored and wrapped it up asap. You never really got to know any of the victims before they died and so the emotional impact was reduced and there was no way they were going to kill off Anderson, the only supporting character we had a real investment in.  All in all it was simply ok *BUT* the artwork was brilliant and worth the hardback alone

Thanks for the update! I'd forgotten most of the plot and digging out the progs in the basement would be a pain... I definitely think it will read better as a TPB

Judge Lock is totally the gate for Judge Death's return, a good Judge forced to embrace the brutality and then turn...

Prog / Prog 2013...a little late perhaps!
06 August, 2013, 10:30:39 PM
The strangest thing! I was back in New Zealand at Xmas and when I returned to the UK in late January I discovered I had missed Prog 2013. I was going to call Denise but life got in the way, the progs kept arriving and I never got around to chasing it up. So imagine my surprise tonight when I arrive home and 8 months late, there is my subs copy of Prog 2013! Thanks Postie! I wonder where it's been languishing all this time..?

Yeah I got the same thing today but I only renewed my sub in March...and they gave me the 50% thing then so I presume it worked!

I rarely comment but I've gotta say this current Dredd run is amazing

I was kind of thinking about the way it keeps springing up in different parts of the city (plus it started in the North sectors...)

Anyone feel like the riots spreading is all a bit Block mania..?
