Alors!  Jean Reno as Dredd?  Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!  Or should that be Nonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!?
He's a great actor but he's too French and too old.
Hey, here's a nerdy question for y'all.  Has the eighties punk/nerd band DEVO ever appeared in 2000AD or the Megazine in some form?

Ah Floyd, someone finally agrees with me! See my previous thread.

Jean Reno is NOT Dredd.

Please Rebellion and Shoreline, listen to uncle scojo and brother Floyd!

Please cast an American actor in the role, preferably under 40.

Thank you.

Yes folks, it's official!

I am considering the role of Dredd.
I have an agent in the States and he says I stand a good chance.

Why you ask?

I am fluent in french!

Oh ha ha haha!

Now that was funny.:O)

I'm off now to find a life.

Well why not.  Post up a picture Scojo with a Judge Helmet on and we'll see.

I have grown a fantastic potato that looks just like dredd.  I'm hoping with digital effects they can make him talk.  Jim Henson productions could do the puppetearing and Frank Oz could do the voice.

"Judge you I will.  Hmmmmmm...?"

I don't know, I'm not getting too hot and bothered about this Dredd actor, because whoever he is, probably isn't going to match up to what we think Dredd is.

Remember, it's just a film, not a comic, so it isn't real!

'He is our only hope'

'No... there is another... many clones have we.'

ETC

'Joe... I am your clone father'

'No... no... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...'

ETC

(Adopting a broad Bristolian accent)'Morph never told you what happened to your father. . .'

'He told me enough! He told you killed him!'

'No, Joe. . . I be your father!'

Enough, already!
