Hmmmm, is it safe to assume that Mazco are the company bringing out the 2000AD figures then? That'd be nice...
Entering fantasy world
oooh imagine them on a series of McMahon style figures...

Hmm. The link in the 2000AD mailshot takes you to Mezco's website, which says they only ship to the US, Canada and Puerto Rico Dredd. In order to get the goods to anywhere else, you have to use a freight-forwarding company they've aligned with called Bongo War International. Sounds needlessly complicated to me.
Reminds me to go watch the Dredd Bod video....
liking the idea mezco rocked with the hellboy comic and movie line and did ok with others like scarface and the goon...if it is them are we likely to be getting a movie dredd or something comic based?

The keyring is Rebellion Dredd, so whatever license they have will be 2000ad Dredd not Movie Dredd.
Planet Replicas have produced both comic and 2012 styled merchandise.
People are reading an awful lot into something on the basis of a single product.
Is anyone able to buy this cos it ain't letting me. The site crashed a load of times and it won't allow me to put UK in the country box. Grrrrr, it's sodding 01:30 where I am.
It's a right old rigmarole to be honest.
You have to sign up to a secondary site Bongous to get a European shipping address.
I finally managed to go through the order process, until I found out US shipping was $22.00-presumably before the additional charge to send it from Brussels to the UK!
Hopefully someone in the UK will stock it eventually.
Huzzah, just got off the phone to my contact in the US and I'm sorted (That's why I couldn't reply to your pm Pete)
Did you get me one, ye big bastard?
I've put the phone down now, I thought you'd got one sorted :'(
can't Locust help out?
Thought I'd buy 5 to share about and ship them to Auntie Lorna in LA - shipping was $54.65! They're like one of those eBay sellers with low prices and massive postage - what a scam! Decided to stick with my Dredd badge keyring instead!
Hopefully someone in Rebellion staff can get some and sell them via the 2000ad shop with a small mark up?
Yep $44 for two of these shipped to the US, up your arse PVC Clip on boy! >:(
Obviously there are fans and then there are dedicated fans who know people in the US, who are also fans ;)
And there are crazy people. ;)

Yes, but it shouldn't be down to knowing someone on another continent in order to buy a cheap bit of merchandise, or having to use a service that inflates the cost ten times.
I know but at the moment you have to treat it like a SDCC exclusive. Until Tharg gets a grip of some of these merchandise bods, then I'm afraid we are stuck with it.
isn't the 'shipping' still expensive even within the Us of A?
Indeed it is!
A parcel arrived today from one of the 2000 AD faithful in the US ;)

It's nice they've put so much detail into the eagles. Given the size of it I reckon some companies wouldn't have bothered.
