Prog / Re: 1833: The Dark Pside

Prog finally arrived in the post yesterday, a cracking read again, with Dredd the strongest entry by far. Agree with the comments about Zombo from Pop Culture Bandit, apart from the funny 'ammo' joke it's just an impenetrable mess for me.

That. Was. Awesome.

I have no problems admitting that I wasn't expecting much, so many fan films turn out looking horribly cheap and nasty.

But this? This was the sex. A huge well done to everyone involved! :D

I loved it too. Would be great if every 5 or 6 weeks maybe they went and did a retro style cover. Not too often that it becomes normal, but often enough to make it something to look forward to. :)

A fantastic Prog. The cover is just amazing. Dredd really solid and interesting, looking forward to where it's going to lead to (and as others have said a neat tidy up at the beginning).

Gunheadz was a complete joy to read, spent ages poring over the details in every panel, so much to see and alot of it very funny. Think I spotted the poke at Burdis, is it the
'Marine Man' sticker?
Dandridge is ok but not my cup of tea, and to be perfectly honest I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what the hell is going on in Zombo (probably the most impenetrable strip for a new reader I've yet to see, but it's jolly good fun all the same.

Not yet read Stickleback, will probably come back to that later in the week.

Very sad news, I met him once at a book signing/Q&A session and he was extremely friendly, funny and courteous. A future without him and his fantastic Culture is a sad one indeed. Truly gutted. :(

Very cool, and I agree it's strangely hypnotic!

Another class prog, always love seeing Dredd getting his ass handed to him, he's not a superhero, just a normal bloke. The 3hriller was great, really fun, and Dandridge is sucking me in already, very funny and easy to read. This is my first look at Zombo, but it's a good start!

Got to be In the Bath.

Definitely, one of my favourite Dredd stories, either that or the one with the Chinaman on a horse that comes to MC1 and ends up arrested, can't remember what its called.
