Classifieds / Progs 599 - 1199 for Sale
30 August, 2016, 12:26:39 PM
Sad but true...I am selling this lot off, as we are having to make room in the attic. Kept well and in good condition. Hopefully one of you can give these a good home, or split them up and make some money...I just don't have time so looking for a quick sale

I'm selling issue 1, and issue 2 of Mike Diana's 'Super Fly' signed by the man himself. He's the only comic artist ever to be arrested for his work - and you can see why. Very, very sick, and very, very disturbing.

My brother met Mike Diana, and got me this from new york about three years ago because he knew I loved the 'Iron Monkey' album cover Diana did, but this comic is waaaaay to sick for me. No wonder he went to jail. All that aside, his style is visceral and has merit, and for serious comic collectors this is a historical piece

Anyway, this copy is a first edition, and is signed by Mike Diana as well. Unsigned this horrid collection fetches over £100, so who knows what this signed version is worth. I'm selling it for f**k all as I need some quick cash.

If you're interested check it out on ebay

Off Topic / My bands debut album
01 May, 2013, 10:39:39 AM
Well other than tinkering with a camera, and moving house, me and some old friends have been working from studio to studio (which is why the vocals are a little bit dodgy on some tracks) for the past year or so on our debut album. It's taken ages (although that does not come across at all when you listen) and I'm very proud of it. It's only just tonight gone live.

I thought I'd share it with you to see if anyone likes it. I'm not whoring it/or myself (you can listen to it anytime for free on the link) and I'm not blowing my own trumpet (we're not talented enough for all that anyway) or trying to be big sorted - I just wanted to spread something me and some people I love have created.

We've sort of inspired by Mansun, Tears for Fears, Fleetwood Mac, Talk Talk and loads of other 80's b*ll*cks.
Hope you enjoy  :)

General / Nemesis the War- lost
15 August, 2010, 11:45:37 PM
Hello everyone  :) I'm new on here and to be honest I've out of the loop for about ten years, so my 2000AD knowledge is ropey at best so try and forgive my lack of chops, and go easy on a new guy.
Anyway, been buying up a load of the old compilations recently, and been lovin rereading the stories that helped shape me growing up....Indigo Prime, Devlin Waugh, Judge Dredd/Death and most of all Nemesis the warlock.....

Cutting o the chase, anyone on here know why the complete NTW book 3 is SO hard to track down? I went to Sweden a while back, and they had it there, but I though I'd pick it up on my return home for less (as everything over there is so much more expensive) and I was shocked to find I couldn't find it anywhere (well, I could find it, but it was sold out, or just not in print, or something)

Welcome to the board / Hello

Hello,

Was a massive 2000AD fan growing up, and have  been out of the loop for nearly ten years, but recently my passion for all things Tharg have been rekindled, but I'm pretty clueless so hopefully y'all wont mind if I pop in on here now and again to get advise and direction on the best was to back track the stories I loved.
