The Legend of Ellie Quin is written by Alex Scarrow, author of the TimeRiders series and the thrillers; Last Light, Afterlight, The Canleman, October Sckies and A Thousand Suns.

Alex is a fan of 2000AD and The Ballad of Halo Jones is one of his favourites, and this book is his homage to the series.

I have three requests. Everything is non-profit...

• Avatars for my Judge Dredd RPG Forum. I'd like a selection of Male & Female Judges with & without helmet on. I want people on my Forum to have themed Avatars that stand out but also give a uniform (pardon the pun) look, so I only need one artist for this.
• an artist or artists to colaborate with me in creating characters for children's stories. I have several ideas but am firstly looking at Superheroes & Pirates (2 different projects) for ages 4-7.
• Romans, people, weapons, armour - this is for a Forum RPG set in 1st Century Rome & Britain. During the reign of Claddius.

Following the demise of Play Dredd I have decided to create my own forum for a Judge Dredd PBF game. I will be using some rules to guide players in having balanced characters. No need to rush out and buy any version of published games, my rules will be self contained. The rules will be intended to assist players not to restrict them.

The forum isn't active yet, but I hope to be ready to start before the movie.

The game is set in current comic continuity, so Judges will be dealing with the repercussions of Chaos Day. There is a Wordpress Blog that will have some more details on it prior to the start of the game. http://judgetutorsemple.wordpress.com/
