Question about abc warriors Volgan war hard backs.

I've just managed to bag volume 1 on amazon, but there seems to be two different covers. My cover has three picture frames on top of each other. The other cover is a solo image of Mongrel. Were there two releases of this series? as in reprints?

I think that the Mongrel cover is the softback edition, also there was a few sites using the image of Mongrel to promote the original release before the official cover came out.

That' good to know thanks. The other volumes with single images will be soft covers too then? I'll get the other ones as I want to get the hard backs.
