I was gobsmacked when I read that! I have the same Darth Vader, Ben Kenobi and R2D2 on card backs from the original 12 backs from Ep4 as well as a Wicket from ROTJ.

Given today's Greek Vote and the Demise of Demis, I thought this song was very appropriate: http://open.spotify.com/track/3wqirUxd7aQfnGfS0gfZj0

So what would have happened if Death had turned up in the Sov Blok?

Finally calming down towards Chrimble.

There's some lush artwork on here, love Dunk's Nemesis - the linework is sublime, Megabus continues to keep us entertained, Anime's Death is genius and everyone's entries are quite, quite brilliant (it amazes me that every year they remain so creative and so imaginative that it's a testament to the breadth of characters and history that 2000AD has to offer), but so far it's Mimikeke's Lawson that tickles me, it's so cute!

Lovely stuff hive!

Merry Christmas Wishes

(I'd appreciate it if a Mod, or other kind soul would post up the attachment as I cannot access my FTP - thanks)

General / Re: Why and when did you stop reading 2000AD?

Never stopped reading the Prog. I remember the TV ad in the 70's and asking my Mum to buy it for me. It was my Gran that bought it, along with a bag of mix and mix, and since then I've not stopped since '77. One of my girlfriends even objected to me buying it (because it was misoginistic, and she was a feminist - yeah, really) so I bought it in secret and kept them in my locker at work: Prog, Meg, Crisis, Revolver - the lot. I now have boxes of 2000AD's in the staff room at work, my kids read it, and this year I'll be attending Thought Bubble with ALL my older kids. Kind of proud really  :D

Events / Wales Comic Con - Wrexham, 30th November

Hi Folks

Is anyone going to this? My son is at Uni in Wrexham so I'm going to kill two birds with one stone for the weekend, but to be honest I'd never heard of it until this year.
