As well as Number 5 from Short Circuit, that's reminding me a lot of Huwey, Dewey and Lewey from Silent Running. I think I cried the first time I saw Lewey get killed in that lightning storm.

I was shocked to realise how relatively few of the Pixar films I've actually seen; Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc... erm, I think that's it.

How many've they made now?

Cock. An unbroken three-year stint on the board without double posting, ruined by a moment's madness.

I see Dante has finally got round to building up his own army to overthrow the Tsar with (something he vowed to do right at the beginning of the whole saga).

I'd argue he's been doing this for some time - winning round first his mother's pirate fleet, then the combined forces of those four other captains. He's now got the combined loyal allegiance of several hundred pirates, even if they aren't currently in the strip, but I'm sure they'll rise when he gives the signal.

Early prog for me as well! What's going on, someone put drugs in the post force's morning cuppa?

Nice to have Ten Seconders back, and Dante is always welcome - and it looks like this tale may not even feature Dante himself! Namecheck for Roffmann too in Dredd, one of my fave supporting characters. As for the splash page in Dead Eyes - all I can say is blimey!

Re:Ten Seconders - Was that Willis bloke the helicopter pilot from early during the first series?

Honourable mention to Watcher, because I only realised his was an entry and not an actual book cover while reading this very thread, and I would probably have voted for him otherwise.

Aurora (66.4), followed by Scarlet Witch (64.6) and Rogue (62).

Dammit, must try and get it so Rogue's my number 1.

To these eyes, The Hulk looks more fake in this than the last movie

I thought that too - the Hulk CG actually looks worse than in the first film; how'd they manage that?!

Books & Comics / Re: Mega-City Undercover

I was planning on buying this until I discovered how little Lenny Zero there actually is. Only about four episodes and around a quarter of the book.

I suspect they could easily have crammed all the Zero stuff in the one book, but then they'd have a second, later book which has nothing to go in it but Low Life and would render the 'Mega-City Undercover' umbrella title meaningless. They obviously need to keep a little bit of Zero back for each book.

I have a larger than average penis.

It's a burden I bear with quiet dignity - the large amounts of sex with adoring women helps, too.
