Trying not to binge on the but read Anderson judgement call which I though was spot on, also confirms that the excellent lawless is back next month

No Meg here but I assume this image from the Xmas prog is the cover by Alex Ronald

My meg turned up yesterday but I'm saving it, and the Christmas Prog,  for next week.

You'll regret that decision if you die this week.

That cover really is a stunner, isn't it?

The cover used for the U.S style 'one shot' one hopes!  :)

Anderson was spot on, the tale and the cover.

This Dredd tale wasn't my cup of tea.  Not a particularly engaging story and wasn't keen on the art, although I usually like TT's work.

Enjoyed both the text pieces, especially the DREDD feature.  Looking forward to the new year line up.

The cover is absolutely gorgeous. Just love Alex Ronald's work.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this little Dredd story. Milligan manages to give Dredd just the right kind of sardonic grumpiness without going too far and Trevallion's art is always a treat. I particularly liked his weirdly spooky monster design.

Angelic is also doing it for me. That Rennie really knows how to write an amusingly carnaptious lead.

Elsewhere, Anderson was a decent stepping stone to the next outing. I enjoyed the way the story played a little with our expectations about Anderson's empathy clouding her judgement.

Blunt has a splendid double page spread, the impact of which was slightly defused by my iPad. I'll give this a reread over Christmas but I'm glad to see that Lawless is back next month.

Life's too short to read articles which aren't about new software development paradigms or Nigerian fuzz-funk.

Only read the Thrill-Power Overload article, but it was fascinating stuff and I was particularly struck by the qoute from Jason Kingsley who states that "I'm talking carefully here, but there's a lot happening in the background. Hopefully in 2017 there may be some exciting things to announce."

It would be fantastic if for the year of the 40th anniversary there were some more movies or video games in the works!  :)

Yeah I get sick of the people of the 'just make it' variety

Obviously there have been and still are efforts, would be great to see something other than Dredd on screen

What a fine Meg that was. The Dredd was a great Milligan conclusion with lush art by Trevallion. The movie Anderson was a nice little diversion but more importantly sets up a new division, which could make for interesting reading. The stars of the show however are Blunt that has a gloriously action packed non-conclusion, this one is coming right back, right. Hope so loved it. And Angelic is devilishly good on all fronts.

All this and some great text pieces, even if I'm saving Thrill-power Overload 'til I have the book in hand. If you'd not read those fantastic Sinister Dexter stories (whatever happened to Anthony Williams?) in the floppie this a a Meg packed with top class stuff and a great read.

It sure would!

I'm amazed no one's picked up Halo Jones yet!

It must be one of the only Alan Moore comics not to receive a film adaptation- and with all that other, far inferior, YA Science Fiction stuff that's been put on screen too!

In November 2015 - I assume this is around the time Judge Dredd film/TV rights returned to Rebellion - a company was incorporated with the title Judge Dredd TV Limited (https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/document-api-images-prod/docs/wLmCV9C_izhXGvSFzHvtRptJGS5qu5JE5AYOIZADM_w/application-pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=ASIAIESIECX65VVZANBA&Expires=1482364993&Signature=VqOQAVLDr3A%2F4ACDxEMHra3JVWk%3D&x-amz-security-token=FQoDYXdzEH4aDCUaEVUrRhtZf2%2ByrCKcA9cJasBRqe2KopmclHGSgj1hLu7zY0uoO9K%2FAOayJUS96MtVYcCDho4ucQSsEj3rsdNNjWlxopYzNCwqtC2%2BOpudg18yBuXoUfICobCWUCvVRVwDytceHNpSwJrL4%2BGH3WOs4o6Ma5RoGljbdXeAvuA%2Faj1Fuh%2BnMr%2BTjb%2Fzxzn6r0qxhaX%2B%2FbdPOUsM%2Bzu3W2w8gdKqs8WJ3iDbLZpVb0td3jhJOxtgyJFHGHI9y4hz55KuB5QW1f5cCaAEDkDLv6jKt5z6gNf%2FeAVE5bqlYp08u7o6D7WVKEK6sMw%2BMHEdWVwT3t8x8sxeaHmYkyK06SY1Ct4f3URdCDnNY0jStNftz8jQaKZj59iHqxUwXZ86oJYDdCmN4iwLMHsz9MPhb2ctoxuXIbuizKnhfvGTjap6jBtwmBG3qxZNaSZziyB32a2PTHx6ljCYiK3UTWQBIbA7fhvawwjzcIRlyDX8L85oYbfzuBG1fAyX6YkcCRLZObYEK15GHZ2ql6fRFa6wfDcWuSM66jy2VA4hCvgX9XPfrC753N6hwJ30mGAo4czrwgU%3D) - the Company Director/Producer associated with the registration is Deepak Nayar (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0623235/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1) - an Executive Producer on DREDD.

This is just one step in development that is no guarantee of anything but it is still active (https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/document-api-images-prod/docs/BtAegLPHbs_NQAuUXKrPCa_vHJmnkrjOPom1bfv_JJE/application-pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=ASIAI6OQUDMN4CZKLPEA&Expires=1482365732&Signature=%2BMt5zwreLp3FBXgm6Tc4VDPIx9Q%3D&x-amz-security-token=FQoDYXdzEHsaDMnc0y3rJpE%2F5w09KCKcA4OklZlQQsax077ZkPHdR3GH%2Fb12Fn2es182jB8hMTsNNzO0twjX1SzhkpGakPl%2BdgkAUZXw4cCivrg7fRYDI7ikKJCbg3jzKqqviBSsRRhNneP6uWuBAHfG%2BI4XnOhJOjNWSf1WbkdFYu%2FbJw4UfpBm8LMkODthIO%2Fn9%2FqoPizLtJRVZVDQ0gZzS9HXdV%2BO5ekOx6Yp8SCL%2Fhr%2FL4UlDksuc9Ebr9oF3iuatc29U5JBBnEa%2BHkxC%2B23m3%2FGKOXmYf3Nf8Rc43ps5tFiBodBSUhCsMgcAGXMiDtikyPADnyLog5dtoXTPYskp%2BJKe0xt5cX9ltNptOFO7Ukv4n5nOP6NWmc1MoTqyzInUcDu2oKKVdtKPU8FYxuTAw11g2nGRHlQQwJrNvMOyjrnmQOJ2DgUaLeuBZe%2FzOTnoiKMmGJ8f%2BwzlV9cPV3r7bmyHE%2FjhyVBtGSeVvGigja%2FCDjXrTNe30%2Fp65CIgiyf4bhHmb6Mycx63hzEohpkxTRDjZL2dDzFqvkN65j3u8PvNJPSKhUk4j85Uzfn9K8rZBAot5DrwgU%3D).

All round decent-ish Meg for me, Dredd & Angelic taking the top spots.

Interesting tidbit in the TPO update- IDW will be producing new Dredd material with established Dredd creators in 2017.
We already know of John McCrea- I wonder who else?
And they may have some other new 2000AD related material in the works also.
