A neat enough idea, in fairness.
Well, if you love that Idea then you'll love to know Sarek isn't technically Vulcan, but a trans dimensional being. Yes that's a plot point.

I dunno, man - he came in so very late, could be really work his ensemble magic with someone else's clockwork? Still, by all accounts he saved Speed.

Now news report that the film is reshoots in cost of £25 millions, possibly polish up the film.

Seeing as Taika Waititi has never made anything that I didn't absolutely adore, I have ridiculous expectations of this, ad-libbing included. Hold your Infinity Wars and Justice Leagues, this is the big one.

Some great stuff there - I'd been meaning to have a look at this thread for a while, but knew it'd punish my internet connection to do so (I was right, it did!)  Glad it made it through the grand photobucket shut-down!  Without knowing the context of the art competition themes there's some confusing images there, but still great pics!

Cruel lies told to children. You had sea monkeys, we had 1 foot lollies.

Besides, the best ones were the cider flavoured ones.

Funny Feet ice lollies were never one foot long, it's a 'one foot lolly' (which I'm pretty sure is cheating).

You wouldn't want one that big anyway, as they were horrible - chemical tasting ice cream that had the texture of cotton wool, if I recall.

I liked Wall's Fat Frog lollies (apple flavour shaped like a frog for some reason) but no one else seems to even remember them.

That's one of the saddest things I've ever heard! I have to completely rethink my ice lolly strategy now, maybe the Incredible Hulk one? Of the alternate names for things starting with L that you guys have (Loo, Lorry, Lift, etc) I think calling popsicles ice lollies is my favorite :D

Oh, for everyone else, we're talking about this frequent advertisement in 2000AD circa summer 1980:

Nice to hear a Magic Sword track in the new trailer - you may recognise it from the Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack.

I'd never considered the Dark Judges as part of an all-ages comic.

Now the whole Luna-1, cape and sci-fi thing I sort of think could be guilty of that.
I think someone reaching in and squeezing your heart til it stops as more 18-cert stuff.

Not really challenging that opinion just never saw it that way.

If WW killing men is entertainment, if those being killed are women is it still entertaining?

Yes.  Although for that to work as a narrative, it would need to be set during an international conflict during which the vast majority of participants were women, during an age where men were largely disenfranchised.  And for it to really work as entertainment, you'd have to market to men who continue to be underrepresented in the medium.   If you can find one of those, you should absolutely unknot your panties and write a screenplay about it.
