Long, long time since I posted...but someone has found the estate I was looking for...or another one in the neighbourhood...

It wasn't just a dream!

Thought a strong opening episode.

The change in Arya and Hound relationship likely as didn't she save his life in the fight by hitting the guy (she eventually killed) with a pot

Lots of the look forward bits on Thornecast (didn't like the new format so much you know...but Sam's interview was good) were on the various season preview vids including one of those in your spoiler section...

Books & Comics / Re: Old school paper v Digital comics

Benefits (for me) for moving to Digital;
1. I simply couldn't house my comics any more...hence they are out there somewhere trying to be sold!
2. When I travel (which is too much) I can DL the new prog every week and have access to GN's if I want.
3. You can delete and reload the comics and GNs if the iPad (or whatever) gets full and reload later
4. It is SO easy to access comics (2000ad, DC, Marvel, etc.) when you want...although dangerous (i.e. expensive) if done after a few drinks
5. You can read them any where - not so easy to lug a load of progs, etc. around with you

Think you need an iPad type screen to really get the most out of it though, Mini size would be too small for me.

Help! / Re: Should I sign up to Spotify?

I'm using Napster - similar I think.  Pretty good coverage of tracks and artists - quality is good.  You can (I think) have 3 devices to the one account which is good - and download to them for off-line use.  I had it for SONOS but found I use it on the phone a fair bit.

Maybe worth checking if Spotify has the majority of artists you're interested in.

We had a barely working system which only had 'tennis' on it, then graduated through the ZX80 up to the ZX Spectrum 48k...always wanted the Coleco system though, but could not afford it - had a near-perfect Donkey Kong (and I think Mr Do!) on it...neighbour had one...lucky git.

Heh...planning another trip up there (not just so I can try to spot it again honest...).

Cheers - I've seen the school before which probably drew my eye to this - I couldn't even get my mate to see it as the plane flew past too quickly (we were quite low due to the plane so things went by the window quickly).  Can't find the standard flight-path for this rout either so not easy to scan GoogleMaps, etc. to find it.

Guess it would have to have been built early 80's on...but again can't find a list of estate building for South Wales...

Need help...

On a flight from Cardiff to Edinburgh I was looking out of the window and spotted an estate where the layout had been set to look like the Millennium Falcon - roads, buildings, etc...but my phone was off and I didn't get chance to snap a picture.

Pretty sure we were still in Wales as we'd not been flying that long.

Looked on MAPS but can't spot it.

Anyone know about this or heard anything about it??  Want to show the boy.

Not that it helps...but mine views fine, so not an issue for every copy.

Games / Re: Nintendo 3DS - anyone got one?

Anyone who played this?

Think it looks great. But I really need to focus on playing Fire emblem... Not to mention a couple of upcomming WiiU-games...

These guys liked it:

Too busy at minute to try it yet.
