I’m glad it’s not just me who is reading it and not following it! I don’t recall what the hell happened in last weeks episode never mind four years ago  :o :-\

I do enjoy Moore's early 80's work but The Red Seas is the clincher in this tie.
Edginton edges it.

General / Re: FINAL - Dan Abnett or Pat Mills - For the Godpleton Cup
« on: 26 June, 2020, 07:53:09 PM »
In recent years I find I skip reading a lot of Pat Mills' work.
I look forward to, and savour, new episodes of Lawless and Brink.

Abnett for the win.

Y'know, I thought this one might be more contentious, but it's not looking that way at present...

Looks like it's just me being contrary again...

6
Purely on work for Tharg, Moore gets the nod.
(If Mills had stopped writing for Tooth around the time Moore had it might be a tougher draw - his recent work counts against him here, for my money.

7
We might get Pat Mills v Pat Mills in the final!

I’m voting Edginton this time around.

Quite possibly the best description of Dredd ever on page three of that first strip! 😆😆
Worth buying just for that.

You know what? I’m going to be contrary.
I’ve reread Summer Magic more often than any of Moore’s work so for that reason alone, I’m voting McKenzie

Heartily recommended, if only to see David Sque back on art duties (which is why I bought it)
I haven't read the recent relaunch of Roy of the Rovers so I was nicely surprised to see a number of the old characters making an appearance. It made me want to catch up on the other adventures of the new Roy which may have been the idea!

To be honest, I enjoyed the Treasury floppy more than Vigilant this month.
I'd happily see more from the archives like this.

Edginton all the way
