For the love of Tharg, don't read the text accompanying The Saint of Killers unless you've read Preacher to the very end. Actually I'm a bit wary of reading any of them now.

Why can't they have "our" Wicker Man, since we already have "their" Scary Movie/ Leathal Weapon/ Terminator 3/ whatever else you can care to think of.

"The V.C.s are back for the final battle."

Good Christ let's hope so.

I'll give the new Dredd story a go, but is it just me or does anyone else think that apart from (the excellent)Cabalistics Inc Gordon Rennie's writing is pish? I think it's due to the backlash against the nineties Dredds, everyone, apart form Ian Edgington is afraid of doing something interesting with the strip

Yeah but that's twenty dollars of fake half price American money, and you're getting a chunky sized mag for your money, around 140 to 200 pages for the first two.

I haven't actually got around to reading this, but I'm interested. Can anyone tell me is it mostly self contained stories or are there any serials. I want to support this thing if it's on the edge, but I'm really not ready to invest any sort of money in stories that I might never get to complete.

"but MR RENNIE , is creeping up on the inside, and showing his ability to some day be passed the baton.
maybe."

Has anyone here actually picked up a copy of the Metro, Rennie may have had his moments but they certainly weren't on Dredd.

"Well now I'm rid of it, how do I get the spyware???"

You don't want this spyware, I know you must think that it allows you to hack into KGB headquators and fire surface to air missiles from you CD tray, but the sort of spyware we're talking abouut actually spys on you. I know, it confused me at first too.

Go to http://www.safer-networking.org/ and download spy bot. This will scan your hard drive for any spyware (some you may not have even known about) and give you the option to delete. Be carefull what you delete you might need some of them (not need as in a system stability kind of a way but things like the google search bar or other plug-ins you actually might want might be lost).

In the mean time go into program files and delete any folders called Altnet, MyWay or Gain.

Happy hunting.

I think the difference is that John puts a lot of effort in to his pages and if there is a critisism it's that it's over detailed.

Siku's art on the other hand was seen by many to be so minimal as to be lazy. Not neccicarily true, but you have to admit that his style backfired on him.

Have you met the working classes?

I think the thing that people seem to forget is that while she's saying this Noddy is standing right beside her. He's a bit of a soft touch and she is clearly using him, humiliating him in public.
