« on: 16 July, 2018, 02:55:36 pm »
How about organising a few pints o pimms over the Festival?

All you medja types will be up to 'do' Edinbra so how about it  :D

As far as I know there is no 2000ad related gigs to hang our collective hats on so its open season! who wants to backout first?

Picked up number one of six, all good stuff and the feeling that all the loose end getting pulled together.
Art, refs and salutes all in there, along with Mr M usual rape references  ::)

Loved Dredd, plotholes abound, but who cares when you have this madness, great change of pace from this team.

Nothing else in this prog even stirs dislike...

I ended up missing this as a long lie and great breakfast at Citizen M, seemed a better option, and company  :-X

Passed the entrance on the way to Queen St and it seemed packed with young female cosplayers in various states of undress, another sign its not for me as I never recognised one character  :-\

The layout and tables seemed similar to last year so nothing different enough to catch my eye... sigh maybe next year?

Moderate this...

please spoiler that space (almost) apes. in Colin's post, its an over the page reveal for a reason! It made me give a wee whoop when I saw the space (almost) apes. emerge. Classic Dredd and a totally wonderful Dredd tale.

The rest of the prog left me cold I'm afraid, I try and read all four tales but I CBA about any of the characters, situations or indeed art, sorry chums colour me no interested...

I'm in town for a gig the night before, so staying over but its looking like the Jocks can't organise a pish up...

I've got a ticket but the whole thing looks a bit of a damp squid.
Any one know if there is any 2000ad artist/writers going?

Where's CF when we need him  :o

Cover - Nice, but not setting the heather on fire here

Dredd -  I read this on Saturday and have forgotten it already, not a good sign.

Skip Tracer - skipped it

The Order - never ordered it, so sent it back.

Durham Red never red it, as the character bores me

and Deadworld -  yes it is.

Soiled prog  let down by a weak strips from cover to cover, I've not been this unimpressed by the Prog since 1990s nadir.
