I dunno. For me, it was a bolt from the blue after that Facebook update. So cruel after he clearly thought he was out of the woods.

I think that's what made it worse for me too. So cruel to have him taken away after that brief moment of hope.

Sitting here feeling gutted that I ended up tapping out at about 4pm as I was feeling so ropey that I didn't even feel like queuing for sketches or grabbing photos.

That said it was an amazingly well run con and everyone I did run into seemed to be having a good time.

Did get a print from the great Ian Kennedy and my Sean Phillips print signed by himself (criminally he had no queue!) as well as a signed copy of Mac-1's autobiography.

My only consolation is that I got 12 hours of booze free sleep on Saturday night and spent Sunday feeling much more human.

Shame it couldn't be done at a jumping on prog, rather than a few weeks into storylines and even those are continuations of ongoing stories.

That was basically my thought.  Great Dredd, great publicity, would have been nice to have the other stories in a position to draw newcomers in, but that's not Molchers fault

Well finally managed to read through uninterrupted and overall pretty great.

I've some unease about the deus ex machina nature of Frank's contribution, but that's assuaged by Frank's realisation of just that.

No groundbreaking changes to the status quo either but some interesting teasers of where things will go Dredd / Hershey, What did Frank see in the Blizzard, Smiley's future

Also has Bachmann really been around that long?

The big difference between the iPad Mini and (most of) the regular iPads is the lack of Retina display

This is less of a problem if you're not actually used to the display, and is also less of an issue on the smaller screen.  This has generally been the major criticism of the mini in most reviews.

iPad's big benefit is the size of the games / applications store - including comixology, Dark Horse, Marvel and DC apps (to be honest you only need the first two)

Kindle HD has more pixels in a similar size package so crisper images.  I've no experience these myself.

I believe PJ and Art have both played with the Kindle as a comics reader...

We now have a name for The Biscuit Dunking Man and it looks like he's been around for quite some time (in fact we've seen him before the current run I think)

Wonder what this really means for Frank and Jack, as both of them may not come out of this unchanged...

Where have we seen him before????

Didn't the previous (Japanese) Low Life kick off with Frank being rescued from the snow by a mystery Judge?
