DD S3 was seriously good. So much better than I expected. The whole Netflix MCU seems to be going  out with a bang, as Iron Fist S2 was a remarkable upturn after the lacklustre S1 and had a few genuine OMG moments IMO.

Think a lot of the credit for DDS3 should go to Cox & D'Onofrio. They play so well off each other.

Thanks for the recommendations- I'm looking forward to catching this one.

I got chance to watch Layer Cake with Nano-bolt last night. For me the film has aged well, but my little girl went to great lengths to explain that there was something badly off for the film with it's treatment of the ladies. She loved the final twist, and the juggling of all the plot elements, though.

Mage- The hero Denied 13.

This is truly comics at it's best. The sense of dread for the final issue is building relentlessly throughout the books now and I 'have a bad feeling' that Kevin is being played by Mirth. There is only one other plot beat that I think needs to be picked up, and it is a terrifying prospect.

This is a series that really does benefit from the gaps between stories- as Matt (The Other) Wagner is such a superb storyteller.

Is it really improved 'that' much? I finally gave up at the midway point of S08.

I'm prepared to be told I'm wrong on this but I recall an interview with Pat where he referenced that the details of Niamh's fate were dictated by Cyber-Matt. A rare mis-step IMO.

GBH's hair is just astounding.

Superb work and I'd be buying these in a heartbeat if they were commercially available...
