The message did say that it was a temporary delay and they were working to deal with it, so I doubt Brexit is the answer.   At least in the case of Northern Ireland.

Just placing my order for the 2020 specials and I see that there is a message that orders to ROI and Northern Ireland, including subscription deliveries, are subject to possible delays of 10 days.  Could someone explain why?

So far everything I've received from Rebellion here in Belfast has come via the Post Office.  Should be no reason for delays.

There will, we are limited somewhat by the expense of shipping them across the water from Beflast but we will have copies with us and we do have a table at Lawless.

Two years after our first issue, issue five is ready for Enniskillen Comics Fest 2019.  Now 44 pages, magazine size with some fantastic artists featured along with our unique cosplayer photostory.

Available for £7 (inc UK postage and packing) via paypal to sector13@Boxofrainmag.co.uk

Details of international prices and available back-issues at https://www.boxofrainmag.co.uk/sector-13/

Cover by Adam Brown, featuring Cosplayer Ella McKnight.

Or you could have it as a discount on one of the other fine publications on sale on the web-site....

You can't blame me for trying...

Fresh in from the printer and due to be launched on Friday in the Parlour Bar, Belfast, Issue 4 of Sector 13.

Cover features Cosplayer, Jay Scout with a little magic sprinkled by Ryan Brown.

40 A4 pages with an even better mixture of stories than previous issues.

In the UK it costs £7 inc P&P. payment via Paypal to Sector13@Boxofrainmag.co.uk

International postage is detailed on our web-page along with details of back issues still available and some other fine comics with no links to Dredd (so I'll stay silent on them - except to say they are very funny!).

Posting of orders will begin on Wednesday this week.

So much great material from the Odhams comics.  Perhaps a companion volume to the Ken Reid Faceache book with some of Leo Baxendale's work from Wham! and Smash!   And I recognise there is little hope of this, but it would be nice to see a reprint of the totally bonkers Brian's Brain strip from Smash!

Website and Forum / Re: Shopping Pages

Has new security software been installed on the shop?  Very effective I must say.  Won't let me log-in, create a new account or actually buy anything.  Can't get more secure than that.

I've just seen this featured on a Facebook Page, a new, free online comic with art by Ryan Brown and Simon Bisley.  Ryan's done a few covers for 2000AD but I think this is his first interior art.   A really nice job I think.  Maybe more Heavy Metal than 2000AD, but a great read - especially for free.

Sector House 13, the group which produces the Sector 13 Zine, has its own occasional Blog as well. the creators of our photo-story made an interesting posting recently giving away some of the secrets of their techniques and the classic comic which was the inspiration behind one single panel.

Take a look.

Over the past few months 'Sector House 13 - The Pit Crew', a 2000AD fan group from Belfast, have been hard at work putting together a Fanzine for the recent Enniskillen Comics Festival.  Sector 13, edited by Tharg's Irish cousin, Fitztharg, is the result.

We involved as many members of the group as possible drawing writers, artists, photographers and cosplayers from among our ranks to come up with a zine that we are all very proud of.

                           Our Cover

At 24 A4 pages, the zine features a unique Mega-City One photostory a tale of Judge Death and one of Fitztharg's Future Shocks.  We have a few copies of the first print left, if you would like one, or would be interested in getting involved in future issues drop a line to our e-mail address, Sector13@boxofrainmag.co.uk or send £5.50 (post paid) via paypal using the same address (UK only - if you are elsewhere drop a note to the address and we will sort something out).

From "Justice Perverted", a tale of Mega-City One

"Inside We're Dancing" our Future Shock

Sector 13 is a non-profit Fanzine.

Apologies folks, an error in the Blog post has been pointed out to me.  Will eb fixed by tomorrow morning.
