All cracking pieces but the Cornwell one edges it for me - hope I can nab a little something from him at Lawless

De Witt’s is my fav so far - imagine coming face to face with that Wulf 😳 (or that Red 😉)
I also like the atmospheric pic from Boniface - those eyes! Very piercing.

Some wants on my wish list but with the Rogue 70mm already at £50 & Lawless around the corner I’ll have to watch from the side lines. 🤔 at that price range I Wonder if planet replicas would do a couple more resin models as their McMahon Dredd was brilliant (& easier on the eye 🤓 to paint than the Stront minis I’m currently working on)

For those that like the Zombie genre I’ve just finished “Black Summer” on Netflix and it was pretty good and frustrating at the same time (everyone in the world should know how to kill a Zombie/undead even at the start of the apocalypse!!) Would watch a 2nd series if they get the go ahead.

Thanks Bissler probably moth ball the figures/game during the summer months as I like to get out and about.
(Unless we get our usual shitty summer 🙁)

Excellent stuff Bissler - I’ll have get my head round the solo play rules as nobody in my house will play play with me 😩
(Also have to finish painting the figures)

Film & TV / Re: TWD series 9

I still watch TWD but end up moaning about the difference between the books and the show. I get the need to be different and some differences have worked (Daryl, still having Carol)and I understand that in a long running series (some seasons were too drawn out) that the actors will go on to pastures new BUT when you have very good story lines and characters in the books why change? As said when the changes are well thought out then they add to the story.
I I’m hoping the Whisper’s story is done well and they don’t drag it out with filler episodes like the Governor & Negan’s storie lines did.

I’ll have to put that on my Santa list. Before I found the thrill power of 2000AD my staple was the commando comics however they don’t credit the front pages which always drew you into the story hopefully this book has a collection of the front covers he did for them. When I found out that Ian drew for them and 2000AD I made him my first stall to visit and my first original droid art (Johnny Alpha)was purchased from Ian at the 40th Bash and I managed to get another piece from him at Glasgow comic con last year (Hammerstein & Rojaws). He’s such a nice man and to still be attending these cons with his art at his age is amazing.

P.s my favourite prog cover is the Messerschmitts flying over mega city one

Finished watching this and really enjoyed it political intrigue with zombies added in 👍🏻. Pretty fast paced story line compared to some of the Walking Dead seasons.
Hopefully it won’t be too long before season 2 comes out.
I’ve been recommended another zombie genre “Black Summer” which I’ll start this weekend if I get the time.

Before someone picks me up it should read that Tharg is a wise Quaxxann not a man. I hope the Almighty one can forgive me for this slip up. I am only a man😔

I tell you reading 2000AD is like reading a modern Nostradamus- in a 1000 years (if any human life is left) they will look back to these “Dark Ages” and say The almighty Tharg was a wise man and he fore told of things to come 😄
