I hate hyperbole...' DESTROYS' effectively means 'eloquently rebuts differing opinion' but I guess nobody clicks on that...

Hey, sorry I sometimes lose the plot on here...it helps to vent (even though I am mortified the next day). Thanks for your patience. :-[

AHH, unfortunately, I'm still hanging on (harder every day). I love that all my sales are in the US even though people in the UK (Friends!?!? allegedly) claim to have bought it. I earn FECK ALL from my RL job...awful.
I'm not up on the TWITTER hashtag IGNORE self-medicating wanker..

just a quick note wishing you all a Merry Christmas/ Xmas/Holiday/whatever.

take it easy, don't let anyone get you down and enjoy it.
if you hate Christmas etc then it'll be over before you know it.

You might know I dabble in the auld writing...

Last year an extreme horror publisher announced an open submission period.
I chanced my arm and wrote something quite despicable.
it's totally out of character but I missed the deadline.....
so as I'd spent a traumatic year on it I put it on Amazon, as people seem to like this stuff (or so I think judging on the success of others in the genre).

it is VERY harsh..and I still struggle to reconcile where it all came from...
If anyone would like to download the sample they can do so here.

if they wish to spend hard earned cash to buy it then I am more grateful than you could possibly imagine.
if you're a fan of this type of thing then drop me a PM with what you think and please leave a review. this is new to me I am concerned I've gone too far.  :-[

Had to stop watching...was originally into the idea of a female DR (mainly for the male companions) and no-one wanting to shag the DR for one ---yes rose and Karen gillians character I'm talking to you)..but seriously...i have not cringed since Tennant's Timmy Mallett tie debacle on the girl  :o in the fireplace. unsubscribe.

Off Topic / question regarding writing and not working
« on: 11 November, 2018, 04:16:28 pm »
Some of you may know I tinker a bit in the writing dept. not expecting to make megabucks etc but I have about 8 novels etc half written but struggling to find the time. yes, I know the cliche of finding the time comes easy if you have the passion etc but I have a proper 16 hr a day job.

however, I am probably going to be made redundant early 2021 when contracts end and as I will be 49 then I want to have a 6-12 month drive to write full time (using savings)...

is there a way to contribute NI still or should I just 'write on' (wick)... I doubt I'll make pensionable age but has anyone any advise etc.

hope someone knows what i'm asking....

Was so sick of the rival factions, governor, then the saviors...and Negan was so annoying (he spoke like he was delivering punchlines on a bad radio 4 comedy, like dr cox on scrubs) Just talk like a human!

Nice to see the survival side without guns....for a change

Late to the party as only just watched episode one.
I always give the new Drs a go...Loved Smith's first series and Capaldi's same but they lost me soon after.
1. Jodie...no problems except she seemed a bit too Matt Smith for me...hopefully she'll find her own soon. Love her costume...
2. NO MORE MURRAY GOLD!!!!!!!! get in...i HATED his too loud, too dramatic music. HATED, I tell you. The new music is a welcomed change.
3. Good mix of companions.
4. Some proper harsh deaths...the security guard on the phone to his granddaughter anyone?
5. Loved the twist where you thought he was idolizing the dr(i hope that was a statement of intent) but it was his nan!

I think it's fair to say that we all know how easy it is to be tripped by the most innocuous event, sometimes without us even realising it has happened.

So true..all keep well.
