Books & Comics / Re: Wasted #2 now out! Gibson's art in there!
« on: 22 October, 2009, 01:10:26 AM »
Just for the record - I think Wasted comic is excellent
The content in Wasted#1 had me in tears - I wasnt expecting off the wall strips with such great artwork.
Wasted #2  continues the great artwork & crazyness
The guys putting this together are not amateurs! What a line up of talent - unedited & uncensored, excellent.
Have you checked out the quality of the paper! WoW. If only 2000ad or the Meg had this quality~ instead of the wafer thin cover & pages we currently get for our £s
My prog is generally warped & wavy as soon as I open my white subscription envelope!
I'll collect them just cos they feel proper
All in all - I know its not for everyone, but hey , I love it!
When is #3 out? anyone know?
Big thanks to the guys who got this together - keep it up
ps. noticed Headquarters are advertising Wasted on the back of the stripping policewoman ;-)- nice!

General / Which Megs go with the free GNs?
« on: 22 October, 2009, 12:50:54 AM »
I enjoy the free GN with the Meg, but have got them all out of order.
Is there a list matching which GN came with which Meg? also meg free gifts?
similar to the free gift/ prog page in Barneys 200ad.org ( although it hasnt been updated for ages)
I know I can go through them on 2000ad.org one at a time but it takes time
am I missing a list anywhere?

Prog / Re: prog 1658 delivered and read
« on: 22 October, 2009, 12:31:01 AM »
Its been said already, but, what a great cover!
The more I look at it the more it strikes me.
Loving Dredd, Strontium dog, Kingdom, Necrophim & Shakara dont grab me but respect is there. Shakara reminds me of when I was a boy reading Nemesis the Warlock and not quite knowing who the Baddie was!
But hey at least its a better option than Nikolai Dante! Sorry, I just dont enjoy it when he is given prog space.
Great Cover!

General / Custom paintjob design for motorbike?
« on: 26 April, 2009, 11:40:35 PM »
Dont suppose anyone would help me with a design for a custom paintjob for my Triumph Speed Triple 1050cc? currently all black.
I'm old skool, Rogue, Stront etc was thinking about a 2000ad collage for the tank, set hump & flyscreen
If anyone is up for it give me a shout.
Looking to make it a head turner/show winner

I know a Grafitti hardback Watchmen recently went for £400 - autographed.

Books & Comics / Re: The Best of Tharg's Future Shocks
« on: 12 January, 2009, 02:07:51 AM »
Can anyone tell me which cover is the original and which one the variant?
I have the one with the green Tharg.
Always loved Future shocks in the seventies....when I was a kid. Would look forward to those short stories, still do so with Twisted tales.
