Help! / Rebellion Shop Contact Details?
« on: 20 May, 2019, 11:31:17 AM »

I have logged into my Rebellion account due to an issue where it seems the Rebellion shop has not completed an order of digital progs etc but charged me 6 times on my bank account for them.

I am struggling to see a contact email address on the Rebellion Account/Shop sites when I am logged in.

Does anyone have a link or can point me in the right direction of who to get in touch with the sort this issue?

I have tried the web form here: https://shop.2000ad.com/contact-us but there has been no reply for over a week :)

Thanks for your help.

Announcements / Re: Judge Dredd: The Cursed Earth card game

My understanding is that they would be sent separately. There are also further promos in the Meg and in a games mag this month, although those ones are purely cosmetic.

Ah cool, will keep an eye out for them then :)

Got mine today and completely forgot there is meant to be a pre-order bonus of the extra cards. Can't see this mentioned on the invoice nor in the box with the game. Anyone else aware if these come later or arrive with the game?

No worries,

If you come across any others pass them this way too, love small press as it offers something new and fresh over the bigger publishers, just hard to find out about new books and zines at present unless I manage to see a few on Twitter or other forums etc.

There used to be a few podcasts knocking about, best of the bunch was Small Press Big Mouth but thats long gone.

These days I tend to listen to http://awesomecomics.podbean.com/ and they cover a lot of small press.

As for sites these days, the only one that tends to do reviews as such that I know of still running is: http://www.brokenfrontier.com/section/columns/small-pressganged/

They tend to do a bit in the way of small press.

They only other one I know of that is still running is the following: http://pipedreamcomics.co.uk/

Beyond this I have no idea, I love my small press and fanzines more than the actual big titles these days, of course you can forget good old ZarJaz :P A must for any 2000AD fan, they even have a new online shop and everything :D

Still waiting for the sub copy to arrive, since moving here I am lucky if I see it within a week of the usual Saturday xD

I've had this on my Amazon wishlist for far too long, think its time I pulled the trigger and bought it :D If no stock, its on Comixology?

I didn't just dream that the forum had acquired a search function did I? Mine seems to have disappeared

So it has, I was using it a little while back and only noticed it missing when I went looking for it.

I've been looking for an excuse to get back into my drawing so I think I will have a dabble at the weekend with this one :D

Been almost 10 years since I last sat down and spent any considerable time drawing.

There are some awesome examples in this thread though :D

Help! / Re: The mystery of Download Megs that weren't there

Thanks for the input. I am also in a half way house for digital/physical. I will buy certain things in physical such as Hip Hop Family Tree as those are a thing of beauty and collections I have going at present.

Really need to make the push to digital, just need to jump in with both feet and get used to it. Although you can't beat the fact of going into a book shop or comic shop and browsing through the titles. I am sure its a problem :P

Colin, I am also pondering going digital as space is not at a luxury any more. Do you know if it is possible to pay for a digital sub by direct debit like the paper subs or its just a one off yearly payment?

Help! / Re: windows 10 problem
« on: 31 July, 2015, 01:24:27 PM »
You will probably find moving from 8.1 to 10 is a little easier as the code base is similar so drivers tend to work a bit better.

Going from 7 to 10 the drivers may cause issues.

I would say do a fresh install of 10, and then get the latest drivers from the laptop manufacturers page, if there are none you may have to go to each site for the hardware in the laptop and get the latest drivers.

Luckily my Samsung Ultrabook has Win 10 drivers ready and the gaming PC I am holding off until the Killer Nic drivers are no longer release candidate/Beta.
