News / Defoe to return in 2019
« on: 21 September, 2018, 08:34:10 pm »
Pat Mills has announced on his Millsverse site that Defoe should be returning in spring next year drawn by Scottish artist and actor Stewart Moore.

It’s based on real-life plans by British scientists to send an expedition to the Moon in the 17th century!   Colin McNeill told Pat about Britain’s first space exploration program by Bishop Wilkins, Cromwell’s brother-in-law on which the story is based.

I remember that in the 1970's BBC would show a lot of classic B+W horror films late in evening at weekends from what I can recall they mainly films like the Mummy, the Wolfman & Dracula but there was something more leftfield & scarier that I would not be allowed to watch as was too young for them
