Mine arrived today. I’m guessing these really were misplaced or preview copies as mine’s un-numbered.

Suggestions / Boo Cook on Tyranny Rex
« on: 21 October, 2020, 10:48:34 AM »
I've just seen Boo Cook's extended art for the 2000ad Ultimate collection. It's amazing, I know Boo can turn his hand to anything, but look at that Tyranny Rex. Now I know many top tier guys have drawn her - Steve Dillon, Mark Buckingham, Will Simpson, but she's never looked so amazing. Tharg the almighty can we get her back with Boo on art duties? If the world ever needed the return of an art-terrorist, it's now!

Has anyone ever seen a copy of Kingdom book 2 with the right end papers? Hachette have replaced mine 3 times but always with the Slaine end papers. As it was originally from December last year I’m starting to think it’s affected the entire run and they are in no hurry to replace. I’d love to see the series extended just to see the more esoteric stuff, somewhere in the multiverse a complete Tyranny Rex is a best seller!

I’m planning on getting the 4 nemesis books rebound as one omnibus. Leeds based Hollingworth & Moss cost about £27 for a hardcover printed book. They send you sizes and you can send your own artwork. Postage is extra but I’ve been really pleased with previous bindings. Adele who oversees new business is friendly. Highly recommended.

Really impressed by Nemesis the Warlock vol 4. I think it’s all in there - poster prog, Tubular Hells, Deadlock, Forbidden Planet etc. A truly stunning volume. Was Torq’s second honeymoon from Annual 1988 always in b&w?

Tharg, if Grey Area is done can we have Harrison & Abnett back on Durham Red?

There’s a bonus promo card of Judge Hershey on the cover of TableTop Gaming this month. Great art by Dan Cornwell.

Realised you missed out on John Hicklenton’s Third World War? Never read ‘The New Adventures of Hitler’? Do you have fond memories of Brendan McCarthy’s Artoons? Fancy a bit of politics with your Carlos Ezquerra?
Here’s 3 beautiful hardcover custom bound books containing CRISIS (1988) Issues 1 - 53...

If the Deluxe edition of Marshal Law had you scratching your head and wondering if something was missing this is for you. This version includes Pinhead Vs Marshal Law (and is signed by Clive Barker on the book intro), also reinstated is the Savage Dragon team- up, and the crazy finale The MASK/Marshal Law 2 Issue Dark Horse series. There’s also a cheeky one page inclusion with the other Lawman who’s gun fires 6 different bullets. It’s a series that should’ve been in 2000AD - you can never have enough Kevin O’Neill!
£100

Those Dredd volumes look beautiful, very professional. I’m fascinated by the competing versions of Bogie Man Chinatoon, it must be the only time a story has been redrawn by another artist, and both saw print. Apologies if this is chatted about elsewhere. I love the Cam Kennedy pages in Toxic but I can’t remember if the story was completed in there. I’d love to research a behind-the-scenes film on Toxic! So many stories stopped suddenly without warning. Really makes you appreciate 2000ad.
