Ah.  Easy.  The one where "Zenith" gets left behind to face the Lloigor, a clearly quite mental Maximan and imminent Universal destruction via the Chaostructor (not the greatest of days).  He turns to the reader, says "bye" and activates the Chaostructor- sacrificing himself to save the omniverse (or is that "multiverse"? I always get the two mixed up)...

I really should have realised that it was Vertex (Zenith's double from another Earth) and not Zenith that made the ultimate sacrifice.  Zenith, of course, was cowering back on his own Earth, waiting for the other heroes to do the dirty work- pure class!

Would much rather be Zenith though.

Ah yes- Gold membership- that'll be me.  Stopped reading not long after the last Zenith series and started again quite recently (although I went through a stint about eigteen months ago).

Even thinking about subscribing...

I started with progg 300- still got my Judge Dredd badge somewhere.  I remember being disappointed that it was so small compared to what I had been led to believe by all the adverts.  That and the fact that the stickiness wore off so quickly.

Was still infintely superior to that stupid space spinner though...

I was kidding.  Mongo has a Robert Patrick fetish- and his playing the role of Dredd was the subject one of Mongo's many obsessions.  About a hundred posts, if memory serves.

There's an interesting chatlog I can point you to if you want.  You can almost feel the sanity falling away beneath your feet as you read.  Really quite spectacular.
