Krong, Morphy and Raider! For a comic aimed at new readers that is a nostalgia-heavy Dredd.

I just got the first omnibus with a Christmas book token, and I have now completed the collection for under £12!!!

I seem to recall that we got the democracy storyline and all of the wonderfulness that followed as a result of Wagner becoming concerned that some did not see the satire in Dredd and thought him a straight action hero. Perhaps that letter will inspire further greatness.

The Secret Rose is out there. I must admit I was dubious. Dream stories, with the obvious exception of The Sandman, often leave me cold. Having read it though I am happy to say that I was completely wrong. It is thoroughly charming and some of the characters are hilarious. Although the tone is lighter than some other Corto books there is still a lot to digest, but it is handled so beautifully that it never seems like a chore. Not a typical Corto by any means, but still a cracking read.

I really enjoyed the series, until it got to the last 15 minutes. I thought the ending was lazy.

Ticket booked. I will miss the Leeds location, but McMahon and Wagner on the guest list already makes this a must.

I have gone one further than just opening it and have played an actual game. I played a solo game on cadet difficulty and won! It's a very well put together game and first-play impressions are good. I will try and get the rest of the family involved in a little while.
Lost my second game, but on the plus side the missus has agreed to give it a go tomorrow.

My understanding is that they would be sent separately. There are also further promos in the Meg and in a games mag this month, although those ones are purely cosmetic.

Rogue Trooper is currently on sale on Switch. I think this is the first reduction on that platform.

Close runner up:
"Jings!  Batman screechin' like a cat in a mincer!  Ma lugs, oh ma lugs! "
"Put der sock in it, Batman!"

Where did that one come from?

Outlaw.

Not bad at all,  John Higgins as always is an top artist.

It's Weston innit?
My mistake. I can't see the image on my browser and I assumed it was the picture that has been tweeted yesterday of an upcoming Weston cover.
