The Red Seas has a complete collection (two volumes) but I think it is only available in digital.

I was never a fan of Simon Harrison's work but he had a very unique and specific style. The masses decided so whom am I to complain.  Glad John Cooper got the vote at least.

This was a quite difficult pool to select from:

Karl Richardson - I for me a very underrated artist. He does  not always get the credit but he is always reliable.

Dan Cornwell - His portfolio is growing with each entry. At first I did like his art but it is growing on me. The turn around for me came when he did Max Normal last year.

I actually see any of these artists worthy of going to the next round.

Red Seas was a great thrill and was allowed to mature and grow over time. What did assist the thrill was that it was published quite regularly and no need to wait years for the next chapter - like many of Edginton stories these days (we discuss this on the Helium thread).

I also thing it is more to do with Ian Edginton that gets bored with doing the same character. In the podcast he actually said it is better to create something new and fail then continuing with a character that treading water.

Of those: Dredd’s good, I’ve enjoyed Durham Red’s reboot so far, Proteus Vex has been bonkers and I hope survives the art shift intact, Hershey worked for me, and Sláine… exists.

Hopefully Lynch can deliver on Proteus Vex. The first arc was great and with Flint's out-of-this-world concept art it made the strip just awesome.

We can always hypnotize you to like  these thrills or just do the following every morning you look at the mirror and tell yourself "I will like these thrills" 3 times.

Yes, quite true both Hersey and Slaine got a lot of criticism the last few years. I do like the line-up tough. But whom does not like  a good "word"-fight?

Colin Wilson was the first artists that took-over from Dave Gibbons on Rogue. The "Ascent to Buzzard-Three" was his first Rogue story.

It is a pity that the warp around cover is not done properly on the digital version. The back page should have been the first page now we lose the effect of the cover. Still Nick did a great cover

In second place I’m going Slaine again with Mike Collins. Again I think he is under rated and did a great job on what was positioned as a fill in strip in Spoils of Annwn, which was actually great.

As I recall he did not work on his own he worked with Mark Farmer.
