This is how I see it:

1 part story one shot
2 to 4 part story multi-part
5 to 6 parts mini-series
7 to 11 parts maxi-series
12 to 20 parts epic
Above 21 parts mega-epic

Well you do get the epics and mega-epics that rather consist out of multiple-parts rather than one big continuous storyline.

Talking about PJ I would love a complete collection of his misadventures.

Number of episodes do count and as Batman said stories that has a connection with each other. A good example of the connected stories where the Every empire Falls storyline by Mike Carroll. Number of episodes is more difficult because I still feel stories like Destiny's Angel and Cry of the Werewolf can be included in the epic range.  Anything touching 7 episodes or more gets my count in the epic range. Chaos Day and Tour of Duty like stories is for mega-epics, anything above 12 episodes is your megas.

The above I am saying in the context of the weekly manor of the stories. The stories are always written to contain as much as possible in its 6 pages. I have read a DC maxi-series which the prog would have done in 2-3 weekly episodes.

General / Re: Dredd Epics Ranked - Better! Round 4

There was a stage when we had all the epics only related to killing of millions and destroying cities. This might be a reason why something like even Day of Chaos I do nor ate near my top epics.

Prog / Re: Prog 2220 Regened: Earth-Shattering

This is where the prog in general has been really good with each run sporting a great variety of strips and different themed series. This is one reason why I believe this regen issue was good since it did have that variety in stories.

Manco for me is doing all the heavy lifting the script is riding an the wave of the stunning visuals. I am at this stage bamboozled that Slaine is not my favourite thing in the prog. I am a great fan of the stories and I want to like it and it is almost that I lost interest. Hopefully next week we are amazed by the awesome ending.

Given that ABC Warriors has been ret-cons and recycling for years, god knows how it’d be closed off.

It'd be a big job alright.

ABC Warriors I am not sure if I would care if its back or not, I would rather have more Defoe

As much as anything, it would be a crime against comics not to let Manco have a longer tenure when he was clearly born to draw this strip.

I would definitely like to see more Manco doing Slaine. The current arc feels very much like Brutannia in pacing where we had a 4 books which could have been done in 2. Brutannia reads much better collected than it read in its tenure in the prog. Would be nice of a gentlemen's agreement can be reached and Slaine and Savage closed off properly.

Where is it in digital? Is it DRM-free (CBR or PDF)? I’d like to buy it, but need it to be usable in a reader I can tolerate.

It is in a PDF format. Quite big almost 1GB

Great cover homage, was I alone in hoping it would be a wraparound?

No you are not. It is always a welcome sign to have a wraparound cover
