On the Switch. Bought it for the princely sum of £1.09 in a sale. I've done the first two chapters and so far it's like an interactive novel rather than a game. If it would just let me play!

However, from reviews, I gather it changes after that first hour when your robot character is re-activated after a war, so I will stick with it.

In a twist, what about your next choice of movie?

Next with Nic Cage is on Netflix. Any good?

Liar. There's no such thing as a PS5.

There is. Has been released worldwide (except China and India) previous month. I didn't know either, until I found out recently.

If you say there's such a thing... go buy one.

Death Race 2000

For lots of reasons, for every damn cover, but mostly for this...

Three more more years and I hope he'll do one for my 25th wedding anniversary!

Because Ace Garp beats Slaine.

I wonder if we are in the midst of some pandemic induced barrel scraping? Tooth, ahead of its time as always, is leading the 90s nostalgia.

Dredd - first time in decades I have skipped it. This is the worst Dredd in years. I am going to say it: This is a Helter-Skelter, Book of the Dead level mis-fire.

Hershey - as mentioned above, if I was asked how the ex-Chief Judge of MC1 would exact revenge then my answer would not be by making her a boxing trainer. This idea is bonkers, and not in a Dredd-verse bonkers means good kind of way.

Red - s'okay but it's filler.

Vex - yay! This is objectively great, but (like the odd 90s strip) it suffers for the prog it is in. I didn't enjoy it because I was grumpy with the rest of the prog.

Slaine - sorry, but when something has gone stale and inedible, then you don't serve it up.

Vex - I liked it. But my enjoyment was soured by the

The only TV programmes I consider endlessly rewatchable are comedies.

For most dramas, I feel that knowing what will happen spoils the tension.

Fawlty Towers
Still Game (this is on Netflix for those Scottishly challenged boarders who've never had the pleasure).
Bournistoun (ditto)
Harry Enfield and Chums (Get on the job? Up my back passage? YOUNG MAN!)
Fast Show
Only Fools & Horses
Father Ted

...and so on

reminds me of a workmate who would book every Friday off weeks in advance, just in case he wanted a long weekend, and then cancel each one on the Thursday if he didn't, freeing up leave days which he'd then book for the following months - this meant that nobody could ever get a full week as there was never any availability on Fridays

I worked with one of those too. My version would then spend the Friday vocally being a martyr about being too busy to take her day off, and despite coming in to work up to 2 hours after most of the staff would hail each person as they left at the correct time with "another half-day, is it?".

Thank you for dredging up that memory, DDD, this is genuinely the first time I've felt okay about being an underemployed waste of space in about a year.

Terrible management. I've seen people made to take their holidays. Nips this kind of thing in the bud.

Not enjoying my prog, save for Vex. The reasons have been articulated in the last few prog threads by various forumites.

But that's the joy of it. New strips soon enough.

Brett Ewans.

Anderson. Sector House 9. Bad Company.

I know there are reasons not to vote this way.
