"You should turn that into a comic strip."

I may do, but if anybody else wants to attempt it, I absolutely *INSIST* it be done in the style of Oor Wullie.

Proper braw I tell thee!

Oh and the Grant one in the style of Kids Rule OK.

Next up, where *exactly* did the inspiration for Zenith come from?

Mark Millar (school bully): Haw, haw! look at "Morribund" with his sissy ACTION comic. That big puff Dredger would be no match for the superheroes in all these great American comics.

Grant Morrison: F@%kin' crappy superheroes. I'll show everyone just how fallible they all are one day!

Well the Trout has quite rightly been "carping" (did you see what I did there?) on about the lack of comic related threads on site at the mo', so here's a nice one for you all.

Get inside the mind of your fave 2K writers and describe the process of their comic creations as you see it. It doesn't have to be Alan and John, but God help us should anyone choose John Smith (and at least one of you will). Here's my daftness with absolutely no apologies for the stilted dialogue whatsoever...

Picture the scene:

Little John Wagner and even littler Alan Grant are sat round Johns house after school one evening.

Johns mam has made a big plate of jam and salmon pate sandwiches (all in one to save on bread) and provided them with lots of happy shopper pop before plonking them in front of the TV and nipping out to the bingo....

Alan: JINGS!!! It's Scooby Doo. He's prawper braw.

John: Aye so he is. I winder whit thae wee badgie roond his neek stands fer tho.

Alan: Whit d'ya mean yah big daft nyaff. It stands fer Scooby Doo o' course.

John: Nah, that's fer to obvious. D'ya no ken he's a big mutant talking doggie? I reckon hes go himsel' a big dose of yon radiation and it's short fer somethin like Strontium Dug or something.

Alan: Ah away wi' yer John. That's some braw imagination yous got on ye. Ye should be writing fer the comic bookies.

John: Hmmm.

Tight costumes. No visible bulges. Hmm...

Semi-porn related distractions aside, I have a feeling there may be a Rogue Trooper film in the pipeline. My reason for this being that Rebellion seem to be drawing attention to the one of the most viable (filmwise) 2K characters and one who has often been touted for a big-screen outing for a long time, by creating a game featuring him.

Now excuse me for being a bit negative here, but in light of the 'now in production' BloodRayne movie I'm guessing that good game reviews are not neccessary to ensuring a backer for a movie. This being the case, Rebellion wouldn't really have to worry about pleasing the masses because it's more than likely they'd still make a tidy profit from the rights and merchandising of a character who most fans feel has seen his day.

Whatever happens though, I can guarantee that the die-hard fans out there will find more to hate about it than like. ;)

"Is there a 'digi-porn' peripheral?"

It really depends on your plug-ins Gary ;)

You don't really need a caption under here do you.

I couldn't help but notice this poll on the Metro board...

'Apathy has topped the poll as a suggestion for an eighth deadly sin. Do you think it's a sin?'

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that pretty much covered by Sloth? (cue comments of 'I don't know. I can't be arsed to look it up'.)

Nice to see my all time fave pop babe Debbie Harry on this thread. If only to remind everyone what a sad, shallow imitation Wendy James was.

Oh and JEB, you are *SO* right about the beautiful Curve popstrel and all round vision of loveliness Toni Halliday.

So this thread has nothing to do with the 2K Christmas party then?

Why do we need to ask you questions if we're all part of the Hive-Mind? Don't you know that we all think the same things, dream the same dreams oh, owhh.

I can only assume that you are not one of us (gooble, gobble, gooble, gobble) and this is just a rather poor attempt at infiltration.

Bzzz, bzzzz (the Hive-Mind communicates) Bzzz, bzzzz Bzzz, bzzzz

HAPPY (belated*) BIRTHDAY!

I couldn't get you a present on account of all the shops being flooded.

*That damn dove went astray with the message.
