Help! / Help identifying 80's kid's program (uk)
« on: 08 November, 2012, 04:47:04 PM »
Sorry to be vague, i've been looking into buying Wind in the Willows when i remembered that there was another program that featured insect's??? a talking black beetle that may have had an almost human shape?

He may have hung/lived in a tree and was voiced (possibly) by an actor that was fairly well known

It's damn vague if anyone could help i'd be over the moon.

The Doctor Who theme has to be without a shadow of doubt the BEST music ever created.

Last night on Meridian News and the main ITV News they broke the news (if it was known before I hadn't heard about it) about a massive project that could be completed in 6 years!

I won't bother with loads of links, as a quick Google will open up a world of fun and it's gonna be on my doorstep and when it opens the Judge will be going there!

It's gonna cost around 2 Billion quid and be built on a, bollocks, time to copy and paste methinks ;)

Planned for 2018, a Paramount Pictures-branded resort will be at the heart of a 872 acre site, twice the size of the Olympic Park.

To be built on what is currently a brownfield site in the Swanscombe Peninsula, it would be one of the largest regeneration projects in Europe and among the four largest theme parks anywhere in the world.

It would include a massive indoor water park, as well as theatres, live music venues, attractions, cinemas, restaurants, event space and hotels.

The site is on the doorstep of Ebbsfleet International railway station, which will provide a 17-minute journey time into London, and two hours to Paris

Here is a proposed pic of the place and just look at the Enterprise :o

About time something like this happened

That's aces Michael!

Here's a few from me;

No night out in the jail
Haven't heard the original but this is lush.

Keep on movin'

Into the Void
A reasonably straight take, but done with aplomb and suitable new words. I've got the 12" etched vinyl, me!

In the pines

This is better than the original

No one mentioned this yet? For shame!

M.

Hendrix awesome

I once had an interview for a job where a prospective boss turned up dirty trainers and jeans and a shirt barely on his back.
Who then spent the next 45 minutes ignoring my CV and talking to me about how much dope he smoked, his collection of horror films. And then about his antics out on the town the night before our interview.

As a result i turned down the job which turned out to be a stroke of luck as a few months later his business went belly up.

Box office has significantly increased from Friday so you never know the film might be getting some traction from word of mouth - lets see if things pick up during the week.

Um....is it's possible to put good spin on this ? Grabbing straws to find something. Best with no comment.

It's still early days i'm suprised that people are giving up it's still got time to build traction and relly all the numbers suggest is a bad weekend for all the films involved
