Announcements / Judge Dredd: End of Days - coming March 2021
« on: 14 August, 2020, 12:58:20 PM »
Judge Dredd: End of Days - Paperback, 96 pages, 16th March 2021

Judge Dredd is the top lawman of Mega-City One but now it seems as though the end has come - he must face off against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse! Luckily he has an unexpected ally at his side in the form of meta-normal cowboy killer Ichabod Azrael.

Modern master Rob Williams is joined by Henry Flint and Colin MacNeil to continue the multi-part masterpiece which began with Judge Dredd: The Small House and Judge Dredd: Control - the Dredd epic of the year has arrived!

It's good of Rebellion to schedule the 'Dredd epic of the year' in March.  We can save our dough on any Dredd releases coming out in April - December.

Wow.  Just wow!

Watch this one first

Sound FX and some of the skeleton animation work

I'm getting a blank on these two.

The Bats one is great though.

The first link is still working for me.  They're the same as the two on Downthetubes.

Busy day for merging...

Apologies again, but I'm surprised this isn't up somewhere prominent like the General or News threads, rather than the 'undercity' section.  (Though to be honest, I hadn't even realised we had a Links subforum).

Sorry everyone.  Just seen there is already a thread for this: Here.

The best thing in the Phoenix was "Planet of the Shapes" strip.  Then it stopped.  They said it was coming back!  But it never did... sob!

But before that was the DFC (David Fickling Comic), which had "Good Dog, Bad Dog" and "Mezolith".  Awesome! (Arsum, even).

I think Funt's chart needs to include "Buster", just to make the timeline unfeasibly large and squash all the toothy stuff we want to see into half the space.  It's good to be challenged.

(Wow, mucked up that url tag and zero edit window to fix.  If only Rebellion could branch into software coding.)

I was listening to Radio National's "RN Breakfast" on ABC radio this morning and they were talking about the World Health Organisation's ability to investigate the origins of the corona virus.  One expert they talked to said (as best I can remember) "Although we sometimes want them to go in there as judge, jury and executioner, like Judge Dredd, the WHO is more like Miss Marple."

I've had a quick listen through parts of the programme again (it's available here[/url) but haven't been able to locate it.  The show runs for three hours each morning, but the on line/download version is only two and a half hours, so it was probably in one of the news segments omitted from the version available here.
