Great Chris Weston cover and inside you can almost hear a Pin drop.

Great Chris Weston cover.

Dredd. Williams, Weston, Blythe & Parkhouse bring back the inaccessible Pin, and to great effect. This one is going to be a goodie.

Indigo Prime. Dunno, looks lovely though.

Anderson. Pass

Absalom. Deeper in to the dark heart of the satanic mill with the Guvnor stealing the show.

Thistlebone. The folk horror revival continues, although I feel this one might read better for me in the trade.

Pick of the prog is Dredd. Will this story see the Pin drop?

Anyone fancy the eighties covers book from the ultimate collection?
Here’s one for the usual charity auction deal. 99p start and free postage.

Cover by Neil Roberts

Dredd: New Blood 2 wraps up the story with something Spode should have seen coming. More interesting artisitc choices and a fun call back to classic Dredd.

Tharg's 3riller: the Chimera 3

Kingmaker: Ouroboros 10. They shall not pass! Which is pretty much what Dredd said on the Hotdog Run.

Max Normal 9.

Scarlet Traces: Home Front 7. D'Israeli's colouring is outstanding and nice to have Brum TV's Kay Alexander take a leading role.

And as already described in the Beast thread there is a letters page about the Regened issue.

Some more charity items from another kind donor. 50% of the sales goes to cancer research UK, and 50% to the Parkinson's disease society.

First up is another rare Planet Replicas Mark II Lawgiver, brand new, only unboxed for the photos.

And the Planet Replicas metal Dredd badge, not very many of these around and a hefty item.

And then other bits
Another Rok of the Reds trade signed on the cover by John and Dan

The Rogue Trooper Biochip usb drive 4GB

The Hachette Horned God, still in the shrink wrap.

A Kull OGN from Marvel

Star Wars episode one trade

Issue 4 of the British comic anthology A1 with some Bojeffries saga in there

Hellboy collected hardback vol 3, new in the shrink wrap

And today's bonus oddity, a copy of Ronnie Barker's 1979 Sauce, a collection of risque Victorian postcards and pictures.

All proceeds to charity, all with free p&p.

These auctions run for a bit longer so that I don't spend all of next monday in the post office.

Fill your boots and make a bid. Cheers, and thanks to the kind donor.

Dredd - Kenneth Niemand again, and Nick Dyer cursed earth artwork.

Lawless - does a talky GoT politicing episode with Phil Winslade's amazing penwork ruling the roost. And a Landraider appearance?!

Storm Warning - wraps up with some more spooky stuff.

A Tale from the Black Museum by Rory McConville and Neil Goodge. Obvious cricket bat from the Cornetto trilogy but don't recognise the axe (but should do).

The Torture Garden looks creepy but I haven't read this one yet.

Interrogations with Geoff Senior and Abigail Bulmer, and the floppy is Mind Wars vol 1

Pick of the Meg is still Lawless but I enjoyed the wrap up of the Dredd cursed earth story.

Another busy episode at FCBD in London. Recorded a podcast, went to two signings, spent some money in FP and Orbital, and had a pint or three with the Southern Contingent.

And here are some lovely things for charity. Let's start with the biggie:
The Villains takeover special signed on the cover by Greg Staples, Matt Smith, Pye Parr and Keith Richardson.

And the Funny Pages FCBD issue signed on the inside cover by editor Robo-Keef himself.

A copy of the Ro-Busters Complete nuts and bolts vol #1 kindly donated to the cause by Keith.

And then for anyone who is interested I have the contents of the Forbidden Planet FCBD goody bag:
FCBD issues of
Stranger Things
My Favorite Thing is Monsters
Deadly Class
Starburns presents #2
Doctor Who

I don't know what half of them are, but every comic has its devoted fans. Check my other items for details.

Also on offer
Two different cover versions of the DC zombie title DCeased #1, both signed on the cover by Trevor Hairsine.

And IDW Judge Dredd Toxic #4 cover B

All of these are 99p starts, with free second class P&P from me, and all are 100% for cancer research UK so every penny goes to a good cause.

There is even the now traditional copy of the Morris Minor magazine, also for charity.

And finally, I also have another spare (unsigned) copy of Funny Pages which I'll send to the first forumite to pm me in return for a £1 on my Justgiving page. But pm me first, when it's gone it's gone.

And that's it. I'm now feeling weaker than Greg Staples' wrist after he had signed all the Burdis progs, so I'm off for the traditional lie down with a damp prog on me forehead while the first lady revives me with pieces of Greggs vegan sausage rolls dipped in soft southern shandy.

You know what to doi.

Cover by the six million dollar (and correctly attributed) Steve Austin, colours by Chris Blythe.

First Saturday prog to arrive in a potato starch wrapper? Well done to Tharg and the droids.

Took a trip to old London Town and came back with two signed books. First up the Turbo Jones trade, brand new, unread and signed on the inside cover by Barrie Tomlinson and Ian Kennedy at Forbidden Planet. Also includes the Kennedy art print numbered 24/100 and signed by Ian.

And Kingdom the Promised Land traded signed on the front cover by Dan Abnett and Richard Elson at Gosh comics.

Both 99p starts with free second class postage and all 100% for cancer research UK.
Every penny to a great cause so make a bid, or a share on social media.

Prog / Prog 2119 - Cops and Robos
« on: 16 February, 2019, 02:36:45 pm »

Cover is by Luke Preece and looks great, although there may be some chat about Dredd’s back armour.

Machine Law continues to drop bombshells on us.

And we find out more about why Jaegir is in the Bonegrinder.

Plus 6 letters for the Beast.

Four great charity auctions all generously donated to the cause by Stephen Buttonman himself.

First up the Cam Kennedy subscribers' exclusive print set.

Then the second volume of Ace Trucking co from the ultimate collection. Includes the letter from Tharg that Stephen received for getting another letter in the prog.

Dredd: Cold War trade paperback with another letter from Tharg!

And Barrie Tomlinson's history of Roy of the Rovers: Real Roy of the Rovers Stuff.
Tempted by this one myself.

All are 99p starts, all are free p&p from the generous Buttonman, and all are 100% for Cancer Research UK.
You know the score, make a bid, or make a share on social media. Every penny helps.

And a thousand thanks, Stephen.

The subscribers’ John Higgins print set donated to the cause by our very own Buttonman. Brand new and straight to you from the creator of the Beast “letters to Tharg” database.

And Ken Reid’s Creepy Creations hardback collection donated by Robo-Keef himself. As ever all proceeds go straight to cancer research UK with free postage. Dig deep into your Christmas pocket money, and that festive generosity, as the fundraising pushes on into the 8000s. Thanks to the kind donors.
