There's a giant Nintendo eShop sale going on right now if anyone is interested - loads of bargains to be had.

Jesus, that's a great sale.

Picked up Hollow Knight, Crypt of the NecroDancer and Layers of Fear for €20.

Necrodancer is fun

What do you call an Italian with a rubber toe?

What do you call a Frenchman in sandals?

That's the first bit I read.

It is with some grumpiness that I must report I still don't have my prog.

I am typically getting my sub on a Friday, six days after everyone else.

This pisses me off.

Sadly, going Futsie seems to be a thing too.

Thanks all for the replies. Are 2000AD not that sort after then after 100? What is the reason for this? American comics go like mad it seems.

Everyone recognises Batman, Superman and Spiderman. No one recognises Ant Wars or Nemesis.

'tis the quirk of an anthology.

You could hold on to them and join the inevitable selling bandwagon when the Rogue Trooper movie is released.

Games / Re: PSVR - Recommended or not?

I am so torn. I wants it, but I thinks I might just have FOMO. And I don't want to spunk £180 on a dust gathering lump. (I have comics in my life, and they perform that function quite nicely thank you very much).

But there's some shooty London game out that I fancy, and I really want to pretend I am in the cockpit of a spaceship - I have waited 44 years for that and, godammit, I want to fly an X-Wing.

Games / PSVR - Recommended or not?

I see there's a PS4 sale starting next week, with PSVR sets at £180.

I am sorely tempted to pick one up. I have a PS4 Pro, so it has a bit of extra oomph to run it.

My question is, has anyone got PSVR and is it just a gimmick? Is it worth it?

Suggestions / Re: What, no Action! reprints?

If anyone is reading this from Rebellion/TBC I think Look Out for Lefty could warrant a reprint?

Has it ever been reprinted?

"Anyone" generally would be Robo-Keef!

I didn't know you could get paid to read this board.

Odd, instantly forgettable, disposable tosh.

Like a special in an Indian restaurant, this is a failed experiment that proves you should not deviate too far from the norm - and certainly not for no good reason.

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

Derivative but such tremendous fun.

It reads like a cross between Umbrella Academy and Scooby Doo, with a dash of the Famous Five and a lot of Lovecraft.

Could be a novelization of a 2000ad strip - Survival Geeks is the closest, I think, but with a rotten town and the hint of slumbering oblivion at the bottom of the lake.
