Ooh, I remember getting that one signed by the artdroids - they had some lovely original art in the signing room as well.

Can't believe it was 25 years ago...

Did he?

Maybe DB can chip in here...

When Damned Ranger was in the Meg, I thought he might have popped up as a leader of the mutant army or something along those lines.

I think it would be interesting to see what happend to Bob Booth though, for someone who caused so much devastation, and with a grudge against Justice Dept it seems a bit unlikely that he would have spent the rest of his life farming.

Hi,

If there are any artists who use Painter at all, there's a free .5 upgrade to Painter IX on the Corel site.

Cheers

A gent to the end, I liked this story from Barry Cryer

"We've got a stage version of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and did a show without him, the first in 36 years, in Bournemouth last Tuesday, when Rob Brydon deputised brilliantly. What Rob didn't know was our great producer Jon Naismith got Humph to record an introduction in hospital, and what the audience heard was: 'Good evening. This is Humphrey Lyttelton. I can't do the show tonight because I'm in hospital; I wish I'd thought of this earlier. Will you give a big welcome to Rob Brydon?' Rob was very touched by that. It got the show off to a great start."

It's so annoying that you have ITV commissioning a rival to Dr Who http://www.thestage.co.uk/news/newsstory.php/10375

yet nothing came of Strontium Dog. Maybe they should  go for the C.U.R. time-travel angle.

And Ro-busters is an ideal kid's series - Thunderbirds with Robots, more action than violence etc.

Superb.

Predictions - How long before a US phone company does the same with Shatner?

And how long before someone has Tom Baker dueting with a Dalek....or Shatner?

The Kim-in-peril bits are the main problem (moreso in S2)

Also be prepared to be annoyed by Chloe in S3 (and presumably S4).

Quite possibly the sulkiest character ever.

I watched S1 and S2 on the BBC before it moved to Sky.

I started watching S3 when it came to Sky Three on Freeview, but missed one episode and gave up. It's one of those series that if you miss it, it's hard to get back in to it.

I bought S3 and S4 from Play on special offer and am getting towards the end of S3 at the moment.

It's a good series (although some of the B storylines can be annoying), I've preferred the Shield and the Wire recently, and I'm not sure how well it stands up to repeat viewing or viewing an episode in isolation since it's a story arc over 24 hours and cliffhangers a plenty.

Not sure if it's the sort of thing you can rent out for a couple of weeks from Blockbusters, which could be another option.
