Dog Soldiers
« on: 11 May, 2002, 01:01:16 am »
Just been to see Dog Soldiers, very 2K.
Shows it's low budget in places but the werewolves are the BEST since The Howling and  best of all it's Brit through and through.
See, we can still make horror films and beat the Yanks.
Go and see it.

Hey yeah, it would be good to do that with a film.  Not like a life less ordinairy, where it was just a comicization of the film (like Look-in, it wasn't even SF!) but maybe a prequel or sequel.  I'd love tie ins like that as long as it was with britihs movies and they were of a suitable genre.  If they were done well.  If they did prequels, that means rebellion could flog the graphic novel as the film came out.

Saw it last night. Loved every gory, irreverent, ridiculously violent second of it, particularly Spoon's last stand.

I echo the others. Go see.

Yes, spoon was my favourite too.  Wot a great laugh that was.  Highly reccomended it is.  A few minutes in you may have doubts, but it really gets going :)  AH, I'd love to say more...
