Nice one.

Owning your favourite page from any series feels great.

I love all my Halo pages, but "Trust we" always stuck in my head.

And I own that page. Bliss.

It's good indeed, I'd always loved the Nemesis page I've got (witch dunk), was just getting the framing adjusted and had an old fan drooling over it, not literally thankfully, but he was well impressed. he was one of those victims of the "parents throwing out old progs" plague that so many have suffered.

Yeah, I've got the cover of Prog 661, which is the Dead Man holding up his Dredd badge. For me, that was an all time classic Dredd moment and I'm thrilled to own that cover.

My other fave from a strip is Kev Walker's 'Judge Anderson Childhood's End' pages where a doctor gets his face skewered by a javelin trap. It actually made me grimace when I read it so it's great to own it (and the page before!)

Aye, that's the best 2000AD cover ever, far as I'm concerned. Stunning stuff.

A nice Ron Smith page arrived a couple of days back and I'm posting it here because (a) it's really nice and (b) Judge Baxter (right hand side, middle panel) seems to be the spitting image of Wake.

 :)

Ron Smith's great, isn't he?

Hi,

Ive only recently started collecting original artwork (and it's not 2000ad, shame on me). But im having a bit of trouble finding online sellers of original (published) art. What Ive got so far primarily are these sites :

http://www.theartistschoice.com/
http://www.theartofcomics.com/
http://www.marcsilvestriart.com/

Does anyone know of any other online stores / artists selling (2000AD) original artwork ? Thanks.

BTW, what Ive bought so far are these 2 :

Ghost Rider #28 Cover 2 page spread Pencils by Marc Silvestri

ULTIMATE SINISTER 6: ISSUE 4, PAGES 11 + 12: PENCILS BY TREVOR HAIRSINE

Sorry, Ibalbalba, I can't help with your question, but....those two pages are ace. I miss Trevor Hairsine in 2000AD. Amazing artist.

Wow really surprised when I saw that art was by Trevor Hairsine. He's an artist that I've really lost touch with since he left 2000ad. He's gone for a real Hitch vibe there (for understandable reasons). Interesting to see an artist book the trend as as they got more experienced actually add more line and detail to their work.

Is the 2000AD Artwork Gallery really that difficult to find?

(this is a genuine question, since I got an email yesterday from someone asking where to but 2000AD artwork but apparently oblivious that I sold it myself)

Depends on youre google-fu, I guess... And what youre looking for. I see a lot of 'Not for sale' pages on that site. Also, there are a lot 'not-so-good' interior pages, and (almost ?) no covers from better known artists on better known titles... Oh well, to each his/her own, I guess.
