Congratulations, dale. Thirteen year old me spent long hours trying to copy those pages, and concluded that Bisley must have been drawing everything on A1 (like Fabry) to get it to look so perfect - especially since he said he drew that series with really cheap disposable pens. If thirteen year old me could have seen how great those pages look in the flesh he would have been sick. For the sake of thirteen year old me, are those pages A2 or A3?

The Fabry page I have (from Slaine the King) is a lot smaller than A1; standard art-board size I think, about A2 at a guess.  If he did earlier work on A1, I'd LOVE to see it...

One of the things you learn when collecting original 2000ad art, is that some of it is absolutely mahoosive.
The largest pages i have are from the Dead Man (which, if ive got my sizes right, are just slightly over A2), and there large enough!

A page at A1, would be unreal.

My 'Tomb of Terror' page is 16" x 18", so nearly A2...

Christ Dale, I love how you so nonchalantly pull something out like that Deadlock Bisley cover.

By far my favourite 2000AD cover ever. So happy to see a collector like yourself owns it.

I know this is a 2000ad original art thread

And I know its really about displaying art you own

BUT

http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/2012/11/comics-a-m-original-calvin-and-hobbes-strip-sells-for-203000/

Kinda puts a lot of the prices here in perspective! Stuff of fantasy this one.

Here's my lastest pride and joy. A page I'm particularly happy with from the lovely Simon Fraser.
