Your Pete McKee impression is spot on, but as a fellow Sheffield-er I must say I'm sick of the sight of his stuff, and much prefer your original version. Colouring and shadows are particularly great.
I know what you mean he is getting a bit ubiquitous but I've loved his art for years and years and it still makes me smile. He's ability to capture so much with so little is unsurpassed.
Thank you for the comments on the shading its what I'm happiest with (£8 worth of watercolour crayons from Rymans!) but so very many lines, so very very many and most of them misplaced!
