I got my copy of Angel Fire at Bristol con the year it came out. Signed by both chaps IIRC. AWESOME story, very creepy. Was my first purchase of the day.

Thanks for the tip off l'm checking out the Future Shocks archives as we speak :-)
No worries, fella. I remember a really good one he did with Steve Parkhouse about a future war that was censored and digitally altered for TV.  It was funny, violent, satirical, touching and sad:  Not bad for five pages
I remember at the time I read them being struck by the way both Chris' stories revolved around very visual ideas. Hardly surprising you might say, but it made me interested in seeing more.

D'Israeli's Future Shocks were pretty good too.

Quality Future Shocks you can't beat them (probably my most favourite thing ever in 2000ad from way back). I do miss 'Shocks' by the legendary Moore though, can't we lure him back some how?! ... perhaps with a free ceramic blade beard trimmer!  :D
