Another "tribute" to Edmund famous Cradlegrave cover?
« on: 07 May, 2013, 08:35:25 PM »
Sorry if this has already been spotted, but I was reading my Metro herald today when I spotted a rather familiar image. This piece of art is currently on display in the Balla Bán Gallery  in Dublin.

Loving tribute or blatant tracing? You decide!

Link to the website, in case the image doesn't show up.

Hate to say it, but if I could make 5 million quid by copying a single panel from a comic book, then I'd probably do it.

It'd say less about you and more about the morons who'd pay it and then cook up some justification.  As if Duchamp hadn't done it all before, and within a coherent theoretical framework, and better.
