What I remember - A side scrolling on rails first person shooter where you are on an alien planet, shooting aliens. Was on the Sega Master System.

That's it. All I remember. Oh and it was bloody good too. Any ideas?

Nope. It was first person. All that you had on the screen was some cross hairs that you moved.

How about this? I remember playing it in the arcade (possibly under a different name) but not on the Sega.

Yup, was just about to suggest that too. I played a very colourful version on the ZX Spectrum, if you can believe that. Admittedly, it did get a bit difficult to tell what the hell was going on at times, but it was good enough.
