I'd love to show the photos of my binds, matty_ae, but I can't figure out how to do it.  All I get is this:  [img]

put your photo online on facebook, instagram, flikr or the like, go to the address of the actual image, copy the address in text form and paste the text between these

should look something like this

use the preview option to see if it worked

Had six more volumes done taking me up to 1981.
Sorry to duplicate if you've seen this on FB

Things I've learned

1. You pay less if you take out the staples yourself
2. Postage is fixed so send as many as you can
3. If you ask for double end papers it stops the covers getting tacked onto the front page
4. Hollingsworth & Moss are technically perfect. I couldn't spot a flaw in 9 books
5. Progs 110 - 127 are so much shorter they do require their own volume

Any chance of a shot of an open volume, to see the end papers? Those all look very nice!

Excuse the messy shelves. Here's what my 2000ad bound collection currently looks like, with another 24 volumes at the binders...

Top shelf of bindings - blue = Star Lord; green = Tornado; black = Scream (it can sit there until I get around to the new Eagle); light blue = Dice Man; yellow = Crisis; tall, thin red volumes - Sci Fi SPecials too tall to be bound in with the Progs;

Second shelf down - red volumes with black lettering = Megazine;

Third shelf down - Purple - Judge Dredd: Lawman of the Future.

Since I've had them bound, I've been reading them more than I used to - definitely worth the cost for that reason alone.

Now I need to pluck up the strength to stop buying the Rebellion trades & sell off my older GN collections. Keep telling myself there's no need to keep them now, but that cursed collector gene says otherwise...

Not sure where you’re looking, but If it’s the thing above the Ninth Doctor’s head then it’s a bookmark!

I’d got a punchline sorted about not needing Viagra when I could just look at this photo but I’m really puzzled! There isn’t a Starlord picture?

But there is, I am now doubting myself but he is comparing the size of weekly Starlord to the Starlord Special and the potential problem it may cause if you wanted that included in the binding to create a book.

I can’t explain! I thought you were replying to my picture of my bound progs. That one’s nothing to do with me!
