Does Usborne have a link to that too? I couldn't find one.

Shockingly, Usborne is still in the business of trying to make money from its books! The old 1980s Computing stuff is available for free because it's pure nostalgia rather than anything new about Computers - but there's plenty of new stuff if that's your bag!

The Spy's Guidebook (and Detective's Handbook) got a minor revamp recently that you can buy. Don't worry, it's just a slightly different size and shape with a new cover, the bits on the inside are still the same! (including those fiendish puzzles with no solutions...)

Colin King, the artist on those books, is still going strong and is an absolute gent.

Knowing Usborne from the inside, my suspicion is that any new 'choose' your own adventure' books will err on the side of being easy to complete - but then, their target audience will be 6-8 year olds I expect. If they sell really well we might be allowed off the leash to do harder books for older children!

Another forum that I'm a member on, rllmukforum, does regular group run-throughs of the Fighting Fantasy books.

The books are great and the threads for the books are even better.

Writing a new Fighting Fantasy book is very much like making love to a beautiful woman...
